For over 300 years they did fuck all on Cyprus and lived off the sweat of others so they have gradually evolved into useless scavengers unable to survive in the modern competitive world. It’s the curse of the Ottoman remnant…

Gerradui, well that explains why roc has stolen my land, it's for my own good. Tank fcuk for that. For a moment I thought it was because they had something against me.

Well in your (linobambako) case its different... your great grandfather was the Hodja's pet boy! :?

Stop whining and go see a lawyer. Preferably a good Greek one and not the shysters you have up there.

It has been done. They will collect the tax for the last 35 years, for the rent they collected on my account and then drag their feet for decades to give the land back.
This reminds of a scam where you get an mail saying you have won the lottery but they cant release the money until you pay the release fee.
Yes why not.

Talat is fine? I thought you were going to kick him out on his sorry backside? Dimitris is doing good though. Just stop wasting his time with ridiculous proposals and we can speed this all up.

Sorry, Fred. I missed this little pearl of yours. I take it you think Mr. Apostolides should have done nothing to protect his rights to his property? That he should have donated his house to the Orams as a good-will gesture? Are you saying that you would have acted differently in his position?

Well lets see if he is able to sleep in that property one night before the celebration begin if you please Mr Herpes.

This is the sort of comment that makes me think that no one really believes that anyone was acting within the law or reasonably when they sold off property belonging to others. But rather that they were relying on the rightful owners just being too scared to return and claim it.
