Dont panic. dont panic!!

Let them recover first - from the shock. Time will tell.

its a shame it had to come to this and they wasted so many years and lost their money. But they should have gone the legal way.

I can only imagine how they are feeling at the moment. angry to say the least. your right

You'd rather the pigs won? And, now it's clear to the world who the property belongs to, (including yours in the south if you have any) what is there to talk about, apart from how everyone's going to get it back?

If only this case was about couple of English people verses a GC.
When the GCs wake up to the causes rather then the symptoms, we may just get there, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it. I can't see how they can agree on anything now.

Finnito as my italian friend used to say.

You must not do jokes like that where the TCs get their property back and pigs will fly.

Finnito? Mate, the Orams case was just the antipasti. Get ready for the main course now. Followed by Turkey getting her just desserts.

Yes, well it took six years for the refugee to get the Orams pigs to fly... what's six months to you?

I really can't accept the credit for that, you guys have been asleep long before my existence on this forum. In fact 50 years long.
But thanks anyway. Glad to have been of service.

The Orams

Postby Tonanti216 » Tue Jan 19, 2010 9:27 pm

I have no sympathy for the Orams at all, but I'm not sure if its because they were so naive to assume that they could buy property in what is an illegal state only recognised in a few countries or that they were taken forward in this futile case by none other than Cherie Booth / Blair!!!

I can only hope that our old family friend currently camping out in Nicosia for the last 40 odd years can one day get his house and land back where he was born in Famagusta. Lets pray that the Orams case serves to warn others who may with foolhardiness try and rip off the original owners of land in the "far north".

As for Cherie... why ? Thats what I want to know.
