And what are your hopes for Denktash?

Still can't find anything which states clearly that he was referring to "Enosis", as you quote.
But, I did find this:
Security Council 3 Jan 1968 (S/8323)
16. ... on the subject of the decision by the Turkish Cypriot leadership to establish a "provisional Cyprus Turkish administration". The use of the term "Turkish Cypriot Administration" which was noted in the last report (S/106UU, para.17) continues to be common practice amongst Turkish Cypriots.
So, although I cannot find anything about Makarios still nurturing a "desirable" solution for Enosis; I did instead find that your TC friends were busy organising their partition; so you must be happy!

Doesn't the above then indicate, Bananiot, that the official policy of Enosis for Makarios was over in 1968 (Enosis and Taksim dreams were all too well alive before the 1959 Zurich agreements), but Taksim was not over for Denktash in 1968, therefore, when the orchestrated coup happened in 1974, primarily by the Greek Junta and the Enosis sympathisers in the GC community, Turkey arrived not with the intention of restoring the RoC government as to what their Guarantor Power instructed, but in fact came to assist Denktash with his Taksim dreams. The rest is history of Denktash's dream which Turkey today still continues to assist the north with their Taksim. In conclusion, according to your article, it indicates that Enosis for the GCs ended in 1968 officially, but in 2010, Taksim is still on going for the TCs, officially.!

Well heroes don't live forever in this World but perhaps a bed of roses and 72 virgins would be appropriate
Oh ... and a huge statue in the centre of Nicosia to honour his Greatness to the Cypriot Cause
Imagine both GC's & TC's arm in arm mourning and honouring the passing of Denktash one day ... this day would symbolise the ultimate unification of Cypriots

Oh dear. Forgetting your own Constitution (as GCs so frequently do and Mak never paid much attention to).
Reread Articles 86 onwards regarding Communal Chambers, or in everyday speech, the Turkish Cypriot Administration.

Since the Cyprus issue has entered a most crucial state, he informed the Greek Cypriots, and we now need to take serious and courageous initiatives in order to overcome the stalemate, the solution sought must be now one within the framework of the feasible, rather than the desirable, and thus I appeal to you to renew my mandate in the coming presidential elections, because I cannot pursue the desirable any longer. I place myself to the judgment of the Greek Cypriot people in order to pursue the feasible.
It was not Enosis he was seeking as the "desirable"! It was the amendments to the Constitution to make it fairer. That is what was "desirable" and what he aimed for ... not Enosis!
He put the amendments to one side to tempt the TCs back into government ... which partially worked. The above proves beyond doubt that Makarios never took his signature of 1959 seriously and that from day one he became a fanatic adversary of independent Cyprus. He worked ceaselessly for the annulment of the agreements he signed in order to bring in enosis from the back door.
You wish! Just to justify your TC friends.
You have no evidence for what you put into Makarios' mouth but the propaganda of the divisive Turks!I wonder for how long we will still continue to blame everybody else for our predicament when the answers are staring us in the face.
I wonder how long it would take you to stop dreaming up excuses for Turkey!
Where is ur evidence, O. I've told u many times that illiteracy kills and u couldn't hide the truths...
