Expat Id go for option 1 with added condition south remains in the EU the North stays out until a time it feels it is ready. it has not worked plus it was forced on the cypriot people by the occupiers. the turks are no different from any other occupier cyprus has had.

If i held a gun to your head and said get out of your house and for 36 years not let you back in and say yes this situation is working nicely whats your problem?
