So witht he release of the google phone ( Nexus one ) has anyone had a chance to look at it or even bought it? its supposed to be an iphone killer

it looks pretty good on you tube and a feature which i love is the text message voice recognition so you talk and it wrights the message which for me i use text all the time so the touch screen only wouldent be annoying,.. plus other better features.

im told htc is a bad brand though because htc made this phone but its google stamp on the back.

what are ur guys thoughts on the phone?

It looks like a really nice phone, but I don't think I could ever change to any other phone now that I've had a taste for the Blackberry...

You should give one of these a try Palio. Its not the greatest for entertainment, but no other device can compete when it comes to the phone department. Its so good for networking, emails, sms etc....and the way its set up and organised is perfect!

lol the blackberry i dont think i would like it it does not look like a phone for me. but i never had one so i cant say if its good or not

That's what I thought, till I got one for myself.

Its so well organised. Your messages for instance, go into ONE messages folder for easy access...that includes all your emails, sms, msn messenger, yahoo messenger, facebook, myspace, Beejive etc...you name it....all in one inbox! Which basically means you don't have to go into each program individually or open countless inboxes to read or reply to messages. You can do it all through the one inbox. Heavenly!!

Plus it has push email. You get them all in an instant, without having to wait for the phone to pull the emails itself.

I got my iPhone last month and sold it the very next day. Bought an iPod touch instead. My BB with the iTouch makes a killer combo...

that sounds pretty good the messaging thing! i use pay as you go so i only use wifi connections so even though cytanet offer free wifi spots to customers its very limited so only at home i am online mainly on the cell phone.

i like on the google phone that you can speak into it and it will type the text message for you.

After my Wife washed a 750Eur iPhone in the washer... i had to get Blackberry, well after tonnes of so much Eye Candy i still wonder how come a 3 times cheaper phone is so much better than IPhone.

so how much is nexus then, cause yeast i saw on htc website nexus for $175 !! thats about 150 euro init !! it cant be that cheap.. so whats wrong

well mainly because the nexus comes unlocked and also it has 4GB instead of 16GB or 32GB but the nexus you can put a memory stick up to 32GB but its extra and they cost 80 or 90 Euro's for a 32GB stick

but the hardware is also much better and nexus allows you to do more then the iphone does. but iphone will also release a new iphone this summer so who knows what thy will bring. they have not announced a new iphone but apple always announce a new iphone at the wwdc in june then release a new iphone in july. so i am waiting to see what the new iphone will bring first before buying the google phone.. which btw is made by htc but they let google have it.. and i am told htc is very unreliable

but i really like that instead of putting a keyboard they put voice recognition which would be very handy for someone like me since i text so much

well to be honest, if it is as cheap as this and do much better than iphone do why not try it !! i think i might give it ago

tho i cant get info about it when eve i try www.google.com/phone the web site says sorry it aint availble in your country !!

so how can i get one !!
