Eroglu:Velvet Partition

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Eroglu:Velvet Partition

Postby boulio » Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:10 pm

Eroglu today stated that cyprus needs a velvet partition in the likes of czechoslovakia. He stated that the seperation should be agreed by both communities. He noted that people in the North are not concerned anymore for a solution and worry more about the economy.Since it looks like he will be the winner in aprils election i have a few questions:

Is there a G/C LEADER who would agree to a partition that is suitable to both sides?

And if there were a referendum do you think the G/C WOULD VOTE for it?

I would only accept if the TCs were to...

1. Take the 12.3% they actually owned and nothing more.

2. Build a 6m wall around themselves.

3. No entry to the RoC whatsoever.

4. No chance of the microstate ever being gifted to Turkey.

Any GC or TC leader have no rights to agree to a partition, while there are THOUSANDS of undisputed properties that belong to GC's and TC's in the north of Cyprus. When will these Turks get their head out of their ass and realize that they can't move on this way and ask for partition.

Load of bluster and pollocks playing to the gallery.

Complete and utter violation of UN Resolutions and High Level Agreements.

This Errorgluey chap will go down well with the International Community.

The so-called velvet partition could only follow a velvet revolution and if there is one thing that Eroglu doesn't want in northern Cyprus, it is a velvet revolution. He'd be amongst the first under post-revolutionary investigation as a self-serving collaborationist.

The solution will only move forward if those frenchie missles or rusting S300 would bring down any flying piece of shit TAF Phantom violating ROCs airspace...

1. I was under the impression that it was closer to 25%
2. The wall is already there (the old city)
3. The RU is to break down barriers, not make new ones.
4. You and I agree on this one.
