4. No chance of the microstate ever being gifted to Turkey.

5. No EU for the "trnc" or Turkey................ever.!

Why are they owed ANYTHING?

Have any of the other invaders been gifted any of our land? Do the Phoenicians own a piece? The Venetians a sliver? The Crusaders a corner?

NO!

All Turks out of Cyprus, now!

GR! ... stop drinking!

(and smoking, my dear)

Oh dear... what if one community doesn't agree, while the other no longer exists?

To find a solution and leave like brothers and as equals would be the ideal thing but the Greek people because are more then the Turks. if there was to unite again the Turks will always be treated the second class, the Turks before the 1974 and even before 1963/1964 was looked on and treated as second class I have first hand experience. now we are equal because we are separated. I do sympathies with the Greek families that lost loved ones or properties. well the solution with the properties I am sure the politicians will sort out. What I would say is that there is no Greek person that would have a bad experience about the Turks Before 1964. what you will find is with alot of Turkish people was treated very badly. the Greek people has to understand that it was impossible to wipe the Turks from Cyprus. Hitler tried to wipe out the Jewish people which was wrong, but it made the Jewish people unite even stronger. i see that bad language is used against the Turks. all I can say I will not do the same because I feel strong. those that use the foul language must be weak and scared. the sooner the solution the better for everyone. I wish the best for both sides.

I would agree too this 100%. Hell if we wait ten years by which time Turkey will be ready to enter the EU they probably would do it .

Welcome to the board. I would compare whathappened to the Armenians, Assyrians, Anatolian Greeks and Yezidis at the hands of the Ottoman Turks more similar too what Hitler did rather then the TC community.

For the analogy with Czechoslovakia to apply, the European Union acquis would apply with immediate effect following the split, along with all rights and norms conferred by European law. All property rights existing prior to the split would be recognised and citizens of one state, as EU citizens, would enjoy full rights in the other state, just as Slovaks do in the Czech Republic and Czechs do in Slovakia. No property rights were usurped as a result of the split. It is precisely for this reasons that this divorce earned the description "velvet". Does Eroğlu seriously want this?
