The "Not in my Backyard" Brits; Islam4UK ... Not!

Postby Oracle » Tue Jan 12, 2010 11:16 pm

Seems to me a little hypocritical for the UK to ban an organisation for simply staging a march to highlight those killed in Afghanistan on the "other" side when not too long ago the Brits were raising money to build a "Memorial" to EOKA "victims" in Cyprus.

So, it's perfectly OK to force your British "memorials" in another sovereign country, against the citizens' wishes ... but it's not alright for these British-Islam citizens to stage a mere march as a memorial to their dead at the hands of Brits .... :?

You were very careful not to mention that the memorial in Kyrenia was not sponsored by the British Government, but by a load of British criminals living in properties that don't belong to them.

I am also sure that you are not a sympathiser of Islam4UK.

You are perfectly correct, on both accounts!

I fully endorse the UK government's decision and perhaps we should have been a little more "radical" with our minorities

However, I do hope the Telegraph takes note that they acted like these "terrorists" ....

What a bizarre and rather stupid post by a hitherto intelligent albeit mixed up individual. You are being bloody stupid , the two events are as different as chalk and cheese , I think you most certainly have got your knickers in a twist.

The people of the area are showing respect for those returning in coffins to their native land to be buried.

Why don't Choudary and company do the same, go to their homeland and show respect there.

When they are gone pull the plug so they cannot return, we would save £25,000 a year in claimed benefits alone for him and sell his £350,000 house.

I suppose O when you in Cyprus eventually get the spread of Islam(purely something they hide under) coming to your shores and it will, as Cyprus is a Christian country and close to many muslim countries, and the Cyprus Govt does,nt do as they want at all times you too will feel their wrath on the streets here. You do know that you don,t actually need to invade a country to experience terrorism although I personally abhore it. You obviously forgot to mention the march against the war in Iraq 'Not in my name' I was there

Some people seem to spend lots of time trawling the net for the info they want to make their point, disregarding any other I suppose its called too much time on your hands and maybe too much hate in your heart.

the usual anti british suspects.........O
the town of wootten bassett (you must know it well) turns out to pay respect to the returning bodies of fallen men and women.. no one tells them to, no political bias, no racial seperation, no religious difference, just respect.
The same respect is shown to SCOTTISH fallen returning to where you once lived...
You seem to forget when muslims demontsrated at a march past by returning soldiers in Luton, Beds - how many were arrested or charged?
none.
You mean to tell me that if a few muslims had turned up at Tpaps funeral with banners and slogans you would have been happy to let that happen?
I dont think so.
EDIT
(written while the previous three posts appeared, but i agree with their sentiments entirely)

I don,t know much about this but the reason for it being put in Kyrenia is dubious  and not wise I suppose, a refusal from the RoC to have it here is one, but in the rest of the world bitter enemies from WW11 have graveyards for the enemy dead on their soil and encourage decades later relatives to visit. I wonder why this evades Cyprus?
