Site probed for 200 missing

Image

NICOSIA: Committee on Missing Persons (CMP) is carrying a new search on land in northern Nicosia after fresh information was received about the possibility that 200 missing Greek Cypriots may be buried there.

Excavations were carried out in the area of Trachoni two years ago but to no avail. However, now an elderly Turkish Cypriot has come up with new information.

The excavation began about six weeks ago but so far found no remains have been found

The 85 year old Turkish Cypriot says that 200 were buried in the area although a dirt road that existed at the time may now be covered by vegetation.

Digging will continue.

If remains are found it may be the largest mass grave of the invasion.

Bir, this is the compassion and empathy you are waiting from the GCs. The victim TCs were hard done by, not acknowledged etc etc.

You have a nerve to preach such crap, now tell us, who actually needs the safe guards, no I mean seriously.

You have become a mouth piece of the occupation regime, pretending to be for peace and harmony, yeah, at our expense no doubt. Piss off MF.

B25, unlike some other people on this Forum,I have never denied that mass murders happened on both sides...And I have never tried to minimise the pain of the "other "side...I just got sick of showing empathy and compassion all the time and get nothing but denials and racist attacks back...
If indeed the remains of the missing GCs are found here,I would be the first to come and curse those responsible...That is the difference...I will find no excuses,I will not try to minimise anything,I will condemn it outright...If I don't than you can come here and call me all the names under the sun....You are jumping the gun here, just a bit...don't you think?
Or are you too only concerned about the GC victims??? The TC victims do not count for you???

Just wondering, where do you want me (MF!) to piss off to??? I have already pissed of from Cyprus in 1969....Do you want me to go further than Australia??? Perhaps to hell???? Just let me know..I will see if I can accomodate you...

Err No!

Most of the missing were actually civilians!

Not that this matters, because POWs are protected under the Geneva Convention.
