There are various definitions of a traitor, not only the one which suits your purposes...

A traitor is also one who swears to uphold the Constitution and the independence of one's country, and then goes about working behind the scenes to betray his/her country, and to present it on a plate to another foreign country....rings any bells???

Ding dong TCs/TMT/Traitors calling!

Our President had the right to propose modifications to an unworkable system. You did not have the right to lead a coup against his government!

What right was given him in the constitution? NONE.

The constitution had his signature on it. His oath to uphold the constitution, did he have his fingers crossed at the time of signing and that made it OK? C'mon.

Please fully regard Bir's comments - you cannot just modify a meaning to fit your wishes, sorry, purposes...

Hopefully the remains are found and hopefully they are G/GC's. Better GC than TC. At least their families can have some closure and continue to spread the hate :/

The piece d' resistance.

Mass Grave of 200 souls found and 4 pages on the Kokkina fighting and one wish from the woman who's sat on more Ottomans than Salvator Ferragamo.

Of course, those who killed them were spreading "love"... maybe in some "peace" operation!

As for most being soldiers, we are conveniently forgetting that "NATO's best" allowed massacres of civilians at Kythrea (those have been identified).

We are also forgetting that both sides are harboring some real gems in their midst. The people who committed the massacres of Sandalaris, Afania, Kythrea, are walking around free and no doubt admired for their heroism. We call them "fighters" and reward them. There is an attitude that cuts across both communities, we know it, we know how it is expressed, and how we all shut up about it. We also know that we would not feel at all comfortable if one of these "fighters" wanted to marry into our families.

Omerta is a way of life common to most Mediterranean islands.

Outstanding post.
