Yes, very Doric, or is it Ionic or Corinthian?

Will email Tsimpedes later this evening for more info, costs etc and will post any reply.

All for it. If there is a path to improve poor govt. policies by forcing them to address the concerns of innocent buyers then it is a positve development.

This is not just an issue for foreign buyers.

The sooner these issues are addressed the better the future for all.

Paphitis
What I would like to know, is why a "Greek" Lawyer sees it fit and appropriate to represent a bunch of carpetbaggers with their claim against Turkey/"trnc" when the lands they supposedly bought were probably stolen from the GCs!

am with Paphitis on this one. I think he may be trying to show that instead of taking the poor souls who have lost their property through the Turkish occupation then the extortionisits we call brothers in the occupied lands, just like the Orams case, that they should be fighting the the thieving TC's

This class action in the USA isn't limited to Carpet Baggers. Indeed, it seems to me, it was started to give refugees from '74 another avenue for bringing Turkey to account.

In this case it is the illegal use of USA supplied arms in '74 to invade, occupy and to illegally disposses refugees.

Folks, we have a common enemy - Turkey!!! ... and increasingly we may have to do what seems the unthinkable and to come to accept that over the next few years more and more disgruntled Carpet Baggers will be taking on Turkey in the courts of the Republic, then from there to the ECHR.

Anyway, the ladies involved in the AGA Scam, ripped off and silenced by the Tnucland Regime and banned from CY 4+4=0 have posted an article which may be of interest ...

We have left a speech channel open to the Government but the silence is deafening, therefore we are possibly, although not definitely yet, following a route aided by Tsimpedes Law firm in Washington DC

Stupid sows are using the threat of legal actions via US to scare TONC into paying them off. Of course, were it to do so, dozens if not hundreds more such claims would be winging their way to it.

THREE WOMEN who paid for but never received villas in the north of Cyprus are joining the Greek Cypriot refugee’s class action suit filed by Washington DC based firm Tsimpedes Law.

The lawsuit was initially filed on behalf of Mihalis Toumazou, Nicolas Kantzilaris and Maroula Toumpazou and is seeking compensation from the ‘TRNC’, and from Turkey, for the denial of access to and enjoyment of land and property held in the north.

Athan Tsimpedes the lawyer handling the case is suing on the grounds that the ‘TRNC’ would most accurately be classified in the US as an organised crime outfit under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act (RICO).

This would allow the three women Sandra Kocinski, Pat Clarke and Suz Latchford to sue in the same way as the Greek Cypriot litigants.

A statement released by the women, which was published in the north’s ‘Cyprus Today’ newspaper said: “It has become more and more apparent as time goes on that there is no enforceable legal system in North Cyprus”.

They had already gone through the Turkish Cypriot courts.

“After gathering a huge amount of evidence and also exhausting every single avenue in their search for a solution, ABAG will join the USA in legal action against Turkey and the TRNC,” the statement said. ABAG stands for the Aga Buyers Action Group, which has been trying to secure compensation for the non-delivery of the homes they had paid for.

Tsimpedes said that the ‘TRNC’ is required to respond to the case filed against them next month after the failure of an attempt by them to delay legal proceedings.

The three women bought and paid for villas from Gary Robb, who was deported from the north last year and remains in custody in the UK where he is facing drugs charges
