Here is one " long way con " with me as the victim. It happened about two years a ago . I took a call early afternoon and the caller said " Hi John , Ismail here , you know from the mosque next door . "
Hi Ismail I responded whats up .Need a favour he says , I'm stuck in traffic , I have a delivery coming to me just some legal documents that have been couriered to me I need to pay the courier £60 but I'm worried I may miss him , can I ring him and ask him to drop it into you ? Of course I replied . Oh he said can you pay him the fee and I will pay you when I get there . Sure I said , no problem .
No sooner had I put the phone down the courier wearing his full uniform arrived with a large brown envelope , I paid him the £60.00 and he promptly gave me a receipt.
An hour or so later I went next door to the mosque and sure enough Ismail was there. Have your envelope I said , what envelope he replies , you know I say , the envelope you were expecting. I know nothing about it he says .
Did you not speak to me on phone earlier , No I did not he says . I opened the envelope , it contained torn out pages of a girlie mag !!! I got done , coming out I meet Lee the Chinese guy from the Chinese restaurant next door , hi John he says I ve got your envelope !!! He too was conned the night before !!!
Honest this is exactly what happened .

and i once saw them selling a car to a guy who will sell let as spare parts..

oh the car was stolen BTW

yes to many people fall for long term scams and end hundreds of thousands and are left with nothing and they recieve nothing back

The way she means long way cons is by doing a con that takes a considerable amount of time, patience, social skills for large amounts of money

And in which language would that be?

The language which you should put your arrogance down and try to understand what the other person is trying to tell, instead of coming here and bashing them to make them look stupid.

oh miltiadis thats a bad one. Anyone would fall for that. That sucks a bit but it did smell fishy when the delivery cost 60 english pounds for some papers.
