Re Paphiti, you overestimate Israel! Do they even have 500 quality jets that are in good working condition and ready for such an enormous operation? Can they even afford to pay for the daily fuel of so many jets coming and going so far every day, and the thousands of missiles and bombs needed to attack such a vast country like Iran?

Let’s be realistic! The problem is that some people think that Israel can pull off another Iraq-like 80s strike, but this is the 21st century and Iran is far bigger and much more developed than Iraq! Plus, Iran can BITE BACK and therein lies the problem which goes right back to what I was saying in my first post!

With around 90 F-15s and 240 F-16s and then add some F-4E and KFIR into the mix, I would say they are extremely capable.

If there’s an Israeli air force commander reading this thread, I hope he doesn’t listen to you Paphitis and go for it, because this is the kind of operation that only a handful of countries in the world can undertake with enormous risks, and Israel is not one of them!

So far, Israel has been attacking defenseless neighboring countries that have had no reply and thus looking good, but taking on Iran is a different ball game altogether! Ah well…

Years ago there was no need to do anything, and there still is no need to do anything, otherwise it would have been done already.

Anyway, all this stuff is very hypothetical. I believe the real agenda is to bring about regime change in Iran, and I believe significant progress has been made. Change will come from within.

Iranians have already started to rebel, and so it's really only a matter of time before the US installs another puppet regime...
