That’s precisely how I feel about those who call themselves “Turkish Cypriots”!

If they don’t like the ways of the 10,000 year old indigenous Cypriots, then they can bloody well jump in their Ottoman dinghies and bugger off to Anatolia!

  Pure galimatias! What cultural conflicts we have had with the so-called indigenous Cypriots of Cyprus?

Ohh yes, we didn't let Greeks assimilate us as they had done to the so-called indigenous people of Cyprus!

Is Britain paying for its past mistakes .I wonder.

Ed Husain co-director of Quilliam, and author of The Islamist had this to say :
"By importing cheap imams from poor, intellectually deprived and theologically conservative places mosques put young Britons in the hands of men who do not have the linguistic or cultural backgrounds to deal with modern Britain. Little wonder, then, that many young Muslims turn to radical university Islamic societies, extremist websites, and Hamas-supporting groups in Britain for “religious guidance”. "

""Britain's mosques are run by men who are physically in Britain, but psychologically in Pakistan. They retain their village rituals and sectarianism, and prevent the growth of an indigenous British Islam. And for as long as young Muslims are confused about whether they belong in Britain or elsewhere, we risk handing them over to preying extremists in our midst. ""

the answer to that is NO.
Britain is not paying for its past.
britain is paying for all the bloody paople who choose to live there and claim off of the state and live like kings and queens compared to where they originally come from, thats whats they are friggin well paying for.
And for the record, I have not heard of a school in britain who do not celebrate xmas! dont know where you got that one from :?

High time the majority stood up and demanded to be heard.Unfortunately,"the majority" are all too busy working to keep their heads above water and to keep the scum that arrive in the UK to milk the system!Major referendums should be implemented on many subjects that are a bone of contention to UK citizens.Even immigrants who have settled here ,work hard, pay their taxes and live a peacefull existence say that immigration and Muslim extremism is out of hand.Speak up before it is too late people.

Absolutely!

The UK is only a few decades behind suffering the same fate as Cyprus.

Tackle it now before it's too late and Kent is turned into Kentistan to "protect" the tyrannous minority who refuse to integrate and then squeal fear at Democracy because their voices will not be heard!

Democracy4UK and Democracy4Cyprus ....

Even the term English denotes a mixture of races from the northern hemisphere, jutes, vikings, saxons etc and even roman influences - no one claims its one race pure from thousands of years ago
And what about the poor old Hitites ? Cyprus was part of their empire..

And you can live in amongst the local population in places in Cyprus
and and then understand what it means to be a foreigner on "the Island of Love"
nowhere is without its problems these days im afraid.
