Another example of the criminal behaviour of mostly young Cypriot drivers ,
they couldnt give a shit whose life they are putting at risk , irresponsible , hooligans , criminals that get away with breaking the law and putting my life and yours in danger. The law ought to take severe measures against these
primitive thinking young arseholes , some not so young either , who don't give a toss whose life they are putting at risk.
On the Molos Limassol last Sunday I took my 21 month old grandson who was having fan riding his "digger " toy , a beautiful day with lots of people taking a leisurely stroll along the promenade . Two youngster , no more than 14 years old were riding a motor bike , one as a pillion speeding up and down the Molos area which is restricted to pedestrians only . No one challenged them . I approached them , pointed to my grandson and told them in unequivocal terms that they are endangering his life by riding their motorised vehicle , both turned out to be of Arabic decent .
I made it clear that I was calling the police right now unless they departed which they did.
What amazed me is that there were many people in the area with young children and yet they accepted the behaviour of these youngsters as if it was the most natural thing to do.
Cypriot drivers in general ought to be compulsorily made to take a course in road behaviour and discipline whilst in control of a death machine.
Witnessed a crash involving FIVE cars one behind the other , the road from Jumbo to the Ayios Athananis R/A .
Another one involving 3 cars , one car way ahead at the red lights eager to take off as soon as the lights change was crushed on by an oncoming car from the other direction who failed to stop as the lights changed and the car behind him too .
It all seems seems such an utter waste of life in not recognizing that the car is a killing machine in the wrong hands. Most , if not all "accidents " happen as a direct result of incompetent thoughtless drivers.
