That’s so sweet of you… :) I just can’t handle non-technical arguments because I know there can never be a conclusion so it’s pointless to bloody argue them anyway! I don’t know where people get the patience to drivel on and on about something that’s relative!

Anyway, I’m pretty pissed off too with the garden because I need to drill for bore water and that costs 5-6k!!! Bloody hell! Just done my stamped concrete patio though, and it looks brilliant and I’m getting plant soil by the truck full this coming week but I need the WATER if I’m to progress further with reticulation etc!!!

5-6K!!! Seems a bit on the heavy side. What diameter and depth?

Someone I know had one of the wide ones (about 80cm-100cm) wide and thirty metres depth complete with the concrete liners (kounia?) for 1200CY, less than a couple of years ago.

I wish it was 30m! I'd be laughing! :) We're on a bit of a hill at 300m above sea level, so all my neighbors had to drill to about 150m, hence the high cost! :(

Do you have a permit for this? And if so, you can get a grant to subsidise it.

Good luck, 150m is a deep dig, you may find oil then the turks would have something to say
