For as long as it lasts and then cry wolf… genocide even!

You act tough while hiding behind Turkey! Let’s face it… without Turkey the NG would shove every one of those rocks you used to construct it, right up your arse and you’d even say thank you!

Don't worry south cypriot, you'll get out of the forum and come back once more when your stomach gets well. 8)

After what your mother did last night...i"m quite surprised at what I can stomach.

Your hairy women are famous for those type of things. No wonder why Greek woman Eleni is always the bitch in Greko-Turko movies.

Reality stares you in the face day and night.

Small man's way of thinking who has a major inferiority complex to seek revenge and to celebrate his Racism and Fascism because he does not understand what he is in fact doing to his own flag.

No self respecting nation or it's people who respect their own country's flag that represents them, would ever allow that flag to touch the ground, let alone paint it on the ground so that it can be defecated on by animals. Then again, there is no rational to those who hold Racist and Fascistic views. So much for the proud "nation" of the north and it's people who would allow their flag to be defecated on, by allowing it to touch the ground.!

There is nothing in the TRNC flag that denotes oppression towards GCs or superiority of TCs, it is not equivalent to nazism as liars on this site say as thay aim to sensationalise and pollute the reality to help their oppressive aims.

There is no totalitarian ideology in the flag of the TC people. If there was an implication of violence and persecution towards GCs I would too object. But IT IS NOT. Take it for what it is, a by-product of the events that have divided a country.

In this context a flag is used as a symbol of identification, not a philosophy. All opinion polls have shown Turkish Cypriots do not associate themselves with the RoC, and if there is a unification they desire BBF via new birth or else partition.

If you don't associate with the RoC then what meaning is the flag of the RoC. By dictating only the allowance of the flag of the RoC then you are in effect constraining the outcome to one solution rather than providing options which are practical and realistic. You constrain one of the beauties of a forum and that is freedom of thought.

Note:
The comments about passport holders of the RoC etc are silly red herrings to tell guliable children, as the truth is that TCs do not identify with the RoC but take such measures to alleviate some of the impact of the isolation. Another red herring: Those that cry about the oppression suffered by the GCs as a result of the partition of the island to justify the anger shown towards the TRNC flag, the truth is that oppression was suffered by the TCs during the time of unification under the flag of the RoC.

Why use such an overtly Islamic crescent moon and star as a symbol of identification when TCs are secular, and proudly so? (which I admire by the way).

What is the cross doing in the Greek Flag? Greek orthodox Church. What has secularism got to do with anything? It is an identification!

Stop diverting, read, learn, understand and work to become a better person. Idiot!

I await your next stupid comment....

So now we know why the TC teachers' wages are being cut. The lira is being diverted to other forms of enlightenment.

Why bring up the flag of Greece? Did I mention the flag of Turkey? The cross on the flag of Greece symbolises Christianity of course! And as far as I know the people of Greece don't go on about being proudly secular like the TCs do.

Is NOT proudly secular like the TCs. Why can't you just address the point I'm making? Which is, if it's supposed to be a flag representing the TCs - who are proudly secular - the choice of an overtly Islamic symbol is questionable, to say the least.

I'm not diverting. I'm making a perfectly valid point which has touched a raw nerve and you can't address. So instead you use irrelevant diversions and insults.

Was Byzantium 'an overtly Islamic State?' They used the Crescent and star.
Somehow, I believe that the crescent alone symbolised Islam and not the crescent and star. You place too much weight on its symbolism.
