You GC folk regard it as a symbol of an illigitimate political entity, but as the flag itself has support by the TC's it is at the very least representative of the TC's as a COMMUNITY, like the Greek Cross with the Kappa in the middle of the Cross that represents the GC Community.
On April 12, 2000, the South Carolina State Senate passed a bill to remove the Confederate flag from the top of the State House. Do you agree with this decision?

Since you ask, I am supportive, yet saddened by the move. Politically, flying it over the state house was not a good idea. Moving it to a Civil War Monument was the appropriate thing to do. I'm just saddened that the NAACP did not believe in this measure and demanded its complete removal from the State House grounds. No compromise with them: it's all or nothing.
