This is a diabolical thought not to be allowed to have the TRNC flag. Oracle can promote violence yet a representation of a symbol that TCs can relate to given the flag of Cyprus is not a represntative of TCs is disallowed. That is censorship for the benefit of one side.

If we have been taught anything it is that there have been horrific actions which meant the Cyprus that the current RoC flag represents was not functional. If you are in business you deliberately account for all variables to ensure a successful outcome to the whole company if profits are your bottom line. You don't just push things under the rug and ignore them.

Disallowing the TRNC flag is tantamount to cronyism and bigotry being allowed in the Forum. It means not taking into account many factors. It's that need for control over everything that started this in the first place.

Expat only contributes to provoke a reaction hence the use of the TRNC Flag. Nothing in all his contributions have been in any way constructive and to my way of thinking it would be best to ignore all he has to say until he gets bored and moves on somewhere else. He throws in "one-liners" that are meant to incite; Cyprus doesn't need people like that.

Grow up. It is a symbol of TCs, just as verified on the forum as the GC, Greek, Turkish or any other flag you can think of.

It's this type of psychotic paranoia that undermines so much of the good that can be achieved. There is never going to be a substitute for learning to accept each other, the sooner GCs understand TCs exists the sooner the healing can begin.

It is not by far a symbol of the T/Cs who are now facing extinction .
The occupying army is the creator of the offencive flag , it represents the invaders not the T/Cs .The only flag that represents the Cypriot people in general is the only recognized flag of Cyprus.
T/Cs as well as G/Cs should begin the respect the ONLY flag that the entire world recognizes as the flag of this nation.
I join with others in full support of admin removing the so called flag of the so called ( not my words but those of the International community )

I think you ought to be addressing Turkey who have embarked on a programme to turn T/Cs , the indigenous to Cyprus T/Cs , into plain Turks. You will agree that the term T/C is no longer used in the occupied parts , to the annoyance of the majority T/Cs who want to retain their unique Cypriotness.
It seems to me that you are advocating that the G/Cs do not recognize the existense of the T/Cs , are you sure again that you have not mixed Turkey with Cyprus because right now it is TURKEY THAT DOES NOT ACCEPT THAT T/Cs EXIST AS SUCH.

It represents you say the Turkish CYPRIOT people , yet Turkey does not accept that they are an entity on their own as Turkish Cypriots , officially in Turkey the Turkish CYPRIOTS do not exist as such but as Turks of Cyprus .
A bit like saying the British Pakistanis no longer exist but if they do are Pakistanis of Britain.!!!!

I don't give a monkeys about the "flag". Every Tc can have one in their home, use it as a bed sheet, have T-towels, whatever ... but it's what it represents (racist ethnic cleansing) which is an anathema to civilisation, just like the swastika ... only WORSE!

I agree that the trnc flag is very provocative for some GCs and it should not be used...That also goes for the Greek and Turkish flags,as they are equally provocative for certain forumers here...

There is something else which is very provocative to certain forumers...The fact that most GC contributers here will not accept their part in the bloody mess we are in....I will say it again :Unless we make a serious effort to come to terms with what went on in our recent history,we have Buckleys chance of promoting mutual trust and respect so necessary for a just and lasting solution...We should all take a good look at ourselves,and find some objectivity...Else we are all pissing against the wind...
