And? Cyprus is in the EU and its government is obliged to treat all its citizens in accordance with EU norms. For political reasons. Of course for political reasons because governments are political entities. So what is your point?

Its you GCs that think you are doing us a favor when indeed you are forced to provide these services because you claim to represent the whole island,

It's not force its an obligation which Cyprus fully agreed to sign up to. You have a warped way of looking at the world. This isn't the wild west.

Viewpoint wrote: so its time you stopped claiming thats these are gestures of empathy when in fact you do them for political gain.

What would you call saving a citizen's life; who pays no tax, who refuses to abide by the laws of the land, who supports a foreign army on that land, and who doesn't even recognise the government? The authorities could no doubt easily make a legal case for not doing so. That they choose not to will be seen by those that matter as a gesture of goodwill and empathy; whatever ingrates like you may think.

And if you were at death's door, and your wife and children were screaming for someone to save you, I really, really hope a Cypriot doctor in the free areas is able to do so, for the sake of your poor family.

And so that, when you've recovered, you'd be able to remember this exchange. And then, God willing, your conscience would do the rest.

Do you realise that by indulging in these "provisions" it means you bow to the authority and hence recognition of the provider, the RoC

Ergo ... no longer a "claim" but a fact!

Perhaps, before a life-saving drug or treatment is administered, the TC could be asked whether they recognise the Republic of Cyprus. What do you think their answer would be, Viewpoint?

I wouldnt put myself in that situation.

You'd rather die? Good luck to you. And is that the advice you would give to other TCs; die rather than recognise the people who could save their lives?

Why would I want to go south? when the best doctors are in Turkey.

Turkey may not be close enough to save you or them, you fool.

Why don't you just move over to Turkey if they have the "best" of everything? What are you doing in Cyprus? Just preventing the Cypriots access out of stubbornness? Admit it, you don't like Cyprus or anything about it. You just take delight in preventing others enjoying it. Man, you are really sick, already ... I hope Turkey can stick something in you to make you better!

So we agree you are obligated or because you do it against your will are forced to provide these services becuase you claim to represent the whole island and benefit from this fact politically.

As for a doctor helping in my moment of need wouldnt this be the case for any doctor that takes the oath does nationality make any difference, I wouldnt think about going to a French doctor or a Spanish doctor onşy because I do not live in those countries. Firstly I would go to a doctor in the TRNC and then Turkey, why should I go south? imo theres just no need.

Clearly the doctor's nationality makes a difference to YOU or you would not volunteer to go all the way to Turkey to find a Turk to treat you!

What a hypocrite and liar you are!

The fact that most TCs recognise the RoC as a good and legal and honest provider must make you sick to the stomach!

I'll pray for you to get sick, just so that you are clear in your mind what is on offer ....

There clearly is a need. TC lives are saved in "Accident and Emergency" in the free areas. They come because doctors in your wild west regime and Turkey aren't able to save them; for whatever reason. I'm appalled that you can be so flippant about life and death situations.

Would you come north for medical treatment? the figures of TCs going south for treatment are exagerrated, that many more go to Turkey everyday. If you are not happy treating TCs and are forced into it have the balls to stop treatment and stop moaning about having to dish out empathy and goodwill but accept the consequencies..

Well, even YOU would not seek treatment in the occupied north as you explicitly stated you would rather go to Turkey!

It's great having free reign to say what I like to VP, knowing he is barred from replying to me because of his bad language :D

For most TCs doctors in RoC hospitals are a few minutes away. If time is a factor.......then what? The closest and cheapest to get to.
