What's it to you? Is it true you're married to a Turk or a Turkish Cypriot?

He swears blindly his wife is irish-amercan called Maureen.

I think he is a lying prick.

My theory is that he's married to one of Denktash's daughters.

Yes, there was a time when I was led to believe that they were one and the same. They were mistaken.

Our writing styles are totally different… her English is more British whereas mine is more Aussie/US influenced. Plus, she has a richer vocabulary than I and that makes her a better story/gossip/column writer (she’ll probably hate me for this), but I’m better with technical reporting.

Nope, I'm married to a lovely lady named Maureen - who really doesn't think much of my Cyprus stance BTW - and I'm also a person who likes flags and appreciates great designs... and the TRNC flag is one of them!

You have a clarity of style which suggests you also think systematically. No one can argue with the relevance of your statements (except fools). I can be technical if I'm aiming at scientists; but, there's no point on the forum. Besides, you know more technical stuff about the CyProb and can argue with data. I'm more cynical and react to those who try to pass off incomplete information filled to suit their agenda, and that's usually emotive.

What? Denktash would leave his son-in-law to rot in a place like Arkansas? I don't think so. (Actually, I don't think Denktash had any daughters, only sons.)

comical expat goes in an adult store and asks for a blow up doll.
Guy behind the counter says, "Male or female?"
comical expat says, "Female"
Counter guy asks, "Black or white?"
comical expat says, "White"
Counter guy asks, "Christian or Muslim?"
comical expat yells, "What does religion have to do with it?"
Counter guy says, "The Muslim one blows itself up..."

so i guess comical expat is peace loving guy...

Have you not heard of multiple pesonality disorder???? Singly or united you are working for one goal :Partition of Cyprus...By denying the pain and suffering of the TCs,or by minimising it with statements like (more GCs died etc) you are making sure no TC will ever trust you even with a watertight BBF...You are the racist , supreme apartheiters, because you hate everything about Turks-TCs (as you put it),and openly declare it in every post...Your democracy and human rights aguments are worthless.
People with so much bitterness and hatred cannot be trusted to be in the majority in any form of democracy...You are robots without any touch of humanity, and should be rightly feared by all TCs...Have a nice day now...

You should heed the lovely lady; though, with such sound judgement, can't think how poor Maureen ended up married to you.

This doesn't explain your preoccupation with dismembering an island you have no connection with, against the will of its people; unless of course you're criminally insane.

Please pass on my sympathies to your wife.
