Moving on from Paliometoxos post on how fast is your internet, has anyone tried the pingtest to test their connection???

Interested to see some results of other ISPs.

good idea.. i am abotu to try one now. using wireless slows your lap top or pc down a lot though but for me the slowness is worth using the wirelss..

LOL an english virgin media connection 20mbit.. but using wirelss i get at best a D no matter which server i try

but funny enough i do get 10mbit download speeds from mirc or torrent or full 20mbit using ethernet im going to try this site later plugged into ethernet see if its any better

weird but the connection is good and i ams itting one floor abouve the router maybe thats why? i dont know but its definatly faster then my cytanet lol and the downloadsa are very fast so i am happy..

but either way is hall try with the ehternet later see if it makes a difference.. lately the internet has been cutting off alot and having problems though to

see using the thernet makes all the difference :D thats my speed on a main pc not my laptop and using ethernet

They have restrictions on the router wifi connections. The best possible way to do this is go into the router settings and reset everything, then try again with your pingtest :).

well wifi slows ur net down its always better to use ethernet.

nope not really. When the signal is fine you dont have problems. The only stuff affecting packages not send is the firewall used in the router.
