Barrage of statements that show again disappointed Turkey for accession of Cyprus to the EU and the problems it causes in the machinations of the occupying country, we had the last day.

Vice President of the Turkish government TZEMILE Tsitsek said yesterday that the inclusion of the "Greek Cypriot side" was unilateral and a major obstacle to a comprehensive settlement in Cyprus. "The biggest problem in Cyprus caused by the fact that the EU allowed to Cypriot administration to join, although there were internal conflicts, he said.

It failed, and to "denounce" the Cypriot Hellenism because they accepted the Annan Plan. If a just and lasting solution in Cyprus, he argued, would not be wrong either Turkey or the pseudo-state and "the results of the referendum of 2004 is clear proof. "It was the Turkish side argued and wanted a solution and the Greek Cypriot side rejected it," he said. Repeated, and the known position that the EU not fulfilled its promises to Turkey, following the referendum on relaxing the "embargo" against the pseudo-state. Invite even the EU and international actors to exert pressure on Cyprus to work towards a solution.

Statements made on this issue and the Turkish President Gul Amntoulach, the CNN Turk, who argued that the Cyprus issue constantly raised as an obstacle to Turkey, Europe as the "exploits". "Although Cyprus is not very important for many Member States, however, raise the issue as an obstacle," he said, adding that Turkey intends to complete all the chapters and do exactly what you need, adopting the necessary laws in order to achieve accession course. He claimed, and that the country has shown its good will in Cyprus.

This contradicts their stance that they "won the war" and partition is a fait accompli!

By admitting to "conflicts" they (now) realise the war is not over ....

I wish these 'tranlators' (Google) would get the syntax right.

Hi Boomers, best to post the original Turkish article to see what they are on about. Even Halil would have done a better job in translation. It took me a while to decipher Abdullah Gul's/Gul Amntoulach's name.
