Who's trying to manipulate whom?
Any chance GCs go back to a 1960 constitution? What and kill the b'stard child of the GCS?
Get with the program. Point the finger at yourselves, lying, cheating, manipulating low lives.

Açikgöz, Annan Plan was defeated by 55.5% vs 44.5% by all those who voted on both sides of the divide by all Cypriots (and settlers), so respect the will of the people. It had to have been a very bad plan to receive such a landslide defeat. Just accept it.!

You know very well it was not a fair vote. The very person who negotiated the deal not recommending it and appearing on TV for 2 hours crying and begging the Greek Cypriots who are on the whole of peasants stock to vote against it with most of the media against it too. Come now, you sense of fair play has deserted you yet again.
Did you see the discussion few months back when N Kizilyurek mentioned on GC TV about the atrocities by the GCs and being quickly covered up. You are a laughing stock going around pretending that vote was fair and should be respected.

The result was what the result was. End of story. Nobody put a gun onto the heads of those who voted OXI on both sides of the divide. The end result was, 55.5% AGAINST and 44.5% FOR.

Are you happy with the way roc conducted that vote?
65% of TCs said yes.

55.5% AGAINST and 44.5% FOR.

That means yes. If that is the kind of true democracy you are offering, it will 2 countries sooner or later. It may have to be cajoled a little bit but it will get there.
That was not up to TC standards, and even the TC standard is not that high.
Not worth the paper it was written on.

Oh Kiki, let's see - I agree the Annan Plan was a farse, but that will be the case for any BBF. Do you not see the amount of leverage being placed to make something, anything work. If it doesn't come naturally then perhaps it is not a natural stable state.

Have you heard of Occam's razor?

Pluralitas non est ponenda sine necessitate: plurality should not be posited without necessity.

Why complicate the matter. Partition first, grow commonality from a stable footing and then grow towards common goals.

We all know it makes sense - all bar the megalomanics.

Kikapoo suffers from OCD but I'll go along with the idea that he also suffers from megalowhateveritis.

IF there were freedoms of trade then we wouldn't need to cross over.

I am looking at experiences and positions and trying to reach a mutually healthy base from which to grow. What has that got to do with ethnic cleansing! Surveys say GCs have no interest in moving to the north so why fight the natural order of things for a megalomaniac persuasion.
