Here is further proof that i live in the UK. I took this picture from my window this afternoon.

Should not the heading of this subject be ' Greek Cypriots Fans of steveuk' ?

Posting a picture of a snow scene which could be in one of numerous European countries does nothing whatsoever to help your claim that you are British.

What it does, however, if you are British, is show your naivety in believing that it does and is indicative of not only your obvious ignorance of what the Turkish Cypriots sufferred in the 10 plus years prior to their liberation 1974 but also the ignorance of many Brits who have fallen for Greek Cypriot propaganda.

May I respectfully suggest you carry out a lot of research by reading unbiased accounts of the period. You also mention the killing of A Greek Cypriot by a Turkish soldier. I don't condone this but it pales into insignificance with GC killings of British civilians prior to 1960 and in particulary one of many cowardly actions when a British woman out shopping for a trousseau was shot in the back and then 'finished off' after she fell to the floor. Incidentally independence did not immediately bring an end to cowardly killings of the British. I am also not a carpetbagger which is a label your GCs fans like to place on anyone who disagrees with their peculiar version of history.

For my part but I am English Christian and not that it matters the brother of one ancestors was an Archbishop of Canterbury. I lived in Limassol in the 60s ,was not in the forces and have no dislike whatsoever of decent Muslims. Turkey is a secular society and the muslim religion is not that different to christianity. TCs are incidentally no more religious that the average christain in the UK.

The most despicable of all people are those that driven by greed have rushed to buy property in a part of Cyprus that the entire international community considers to be under the occupation of Turkey. Property and land that the legal owners never consented to the sale. These cheapskates are a bloody disgrace to Britain , they are the yobs of Britain , the back of the lorry mentality . They have filled their hearts with hatred against the G/Cs , most are ready to join the occupiers and fight the G/Cs , a disgusting bunch of Brits , and others , who do not give a toss about the T/Cs , all they care for is their dodgy "investments ".

All Cypriots suffered as a result of extremists , G/Cs extremists were no angels and neither were the T/Cs.

ps. Religion has never been an issue in Cyprus , the issues have been the well known "motherlands " and the bullshit that goes with them.

So what happened that we should know about? :?

May I respectfully suggest you carry out a lot of research by reading unbiased accounts of the period.

Why don't you suggest some of these unbiased sources from which you were educated?

It’s a shame Bill Cobbett and Paliometoxo gave you an easy escape route by preoccupying you with bullshit because I for one couldn’t care less where you or the other chap comes from or live.

I’m only interested in your sweeping statements pertaining to the Cyprus Problem which you have seemingly ignored…

What sweeping statements have I made?

And more interestingly where have I ignored such suposed statements?
