You are only temporary occupiers on these lands, because lets face it, when 200,000 GC refugees decide to walk through the Green Line in unison through the Turkish check points, you will be inundated with a sea of people you are unable to stop. Cyprus always easily accounts for unwanted invaders over time, and Turkey won't be any different!

Furthermore, speaking your mind against an occupier that has invaded and ethnically cleansed the occupied part of Cyprus, is no more racist than the Jews voicing their disgust at Nazi Germany and the holocaust!

Did you know that over 100 villages were ethnically cleased during 1963/64 events??? And after 74 over 50,000 TCs had to leave their homes and move to the North??? Now,take the obvious propaganda line and say that they left their homes, where their ancestors lived for hundreds of years,voluntarily!!! go on ,Paphidis,make my day...

I don't think you can call it an "ethnic cleansing" when the abandonment of TC villages/homes was the result of Turkish Cypriot TMT coercion!

It was in GC interests that TCs stay put in their homes to thwart Turkey's partition plans.

Just because Turkey twists the ethnic cleansing of 1974, it does not give YOU license to use the same reasoning as only an "argument" against the facts of what actually happened in 1963/4.

This is were you have to wise up, Bir, if you don't want to be part of the Turkish machinery. You should look at the facts and stop thinking a few deaths justify the sole aim of partition of the island by Turkey. Otherwise we will be led to believe you are only justifying your demand for GAINS.

You cannot deny us reality and facts because you wish to replace them with your version of "empathy" for TCs.

It’s a well established fact that many Turkish Cypriots and Turkey, aimed for partition making them the ones who wanted TCs to move north into enclaves so as to facilitate partition, whereas the Greek Cypriots wanted TCs to stay put so as to avoid partition, so your allegations that Greek Cypriots made them leave have no standing whatsoever!
