INTERCOMMUNAL MEETING

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

INTERCOMMUNAL MEETING

Postby Bananiot » Wed Jan 06, 2010 2:46 pm

The platform "United Cyprus" has issued the following:

The Platform of GC's and TC's educators "United Cyprus" organises the first open bicommunal meeting of 2010, on Friday 8 January at 15:30 at the end of Ledra Street. Three days before the beginning of the intense talks between Christofias and Talat, the platform wishes to underline that all Cypriots have a duty to contribute towards solution and reunification of our country, ignoring the calls of intolerance of the partitionists and positively supporting the efforts of the two leaders. The meeting entails short speeches, music and cutting of vasilopitta on both sides of the divide.

For years now our leaders have been talking under the watchful eye of the GC and TC rejectionists and nationalists. It is now the time for the GC and TC supporters of rapprochement to set up a dynamic, bicommunal movement that will intervene in all walks of life and exert pressure on the leaders for solution, like the recent movement of the platform "this land is ours". Now its the time to create the necessary positive atmosphere in the struggle to reunite our country.

We demand for the intense talks to take place daily until solution.
To the streets, until the reunification.

Well, for the sake of your country you can sacrifice your last day in Cyprus and come along. Surely this is not to much to ask and there we will see who the partitionist is.

Uh reh Palio, enna mas bovgalis me do nussu.

Excellent Cypriot YFred!
