That's because VP represents the majority in the north, so I was told, therefore VP is no longer a TC, but part of the "Turks of Cyprus" gang. Lets respect his wishes and treat him as such! For all we know, he has a Turkish Passport and citizenship of Turkey.!

Here's an analogy. We were a couple, we had a crest made just for our family. Because of irreconcilable differences we split up, it was painful, one got the china and the other the surround sound, the custody battle rages on but at least we are not in physical danger from each other any more. Given we are split up I have chosen a seperate crest from yours. Just because we are not together any more why do you scream and shout when you see my new crest. At a time when we are negotiating some sort of reunion...I have my own couple analogy as you migh be aware...I want the brute husband to get some counselling and anger management therapy so we can be reunited...
He has built a nice house and joined a nice club...We could be happy together if he shows some remorse and empathy and respect for our position...If not divorce is the only possibility..In that case we all go our own ways,no need to torture each other with our "crests"...

Rwarrior, Bir, I totally get it, and if there was understanding and respect exhibited I'd be very happy for a wholesome relationship. It's just not going in that direction.

I see Christofias following on from Papad, dragging the process out rather than helping GCs make that paradigm shift in conciousness that TCs had made in 2003 with the help of Talat.

What we got instead was the RoC in December threatening the one family TCs have and depend upon for their safety and livelihood. That's old school, shotgun to a wedding threat, and this time not by simply a friend or cousin. Funny how since then the steadily decaying relationship has taken a distinct turn for the worse.

In many broken relationships you need to sign the divorce papers so you can move on. Down the road when paths will inevitably cross again you can choose from an emotinally more stable frame of mind how to approach it.
