Bulgaria speeds up $20 bln refugee claim on Turkey

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

I agree Turkey and TCs have plenty to answer for, but so does Greece and GCs.

Live in denial all you like. You want to silence the truth but you just cannot.

I can't speak for Greece, and wouldn't want to, but certain Cypriots (of all descriptions) made mistakes in the 50s and 60s and 70s, and have plenty to answer for. Since then Turkey has made bigger mistakes, and has a lot more to answer for, whereas what was left of Cyprus played a very canny game that got the island as a single whole and ALL Cypriots (including ingrates like you) into the EU in 2004.

We are where we are. Now what?

I was pointing out the contextual difference between the slogan "pakis go home" in the UK in the 1960s and "turks go home" in Cyprus 2010. If you behave like a Cypriot and put your country first, rather than foreign imperialists, there is no real Cypriot who wouldn't welcome you with open arms. And those who wouldn't are the real racist bigots, like the imbecile yialoser1971, who are not worth paying any attention to.

I read that as a racist statement, as clear as the bigots that chant "blacks out" or "pakis go home" - you about to do a public lynching? - are you a racist Get Real? You bet you are.

To a proud Cypriot Nationalist like me you’re just a 3rd class citizen. :(

Sorry...

The slogan "Pakis go home" of '70s London was a racist slogan, nurtured by the Fascists, directed at fellow citizens who were here quite legally.

The modern day "Turks go home" in the CY context is an expression of a legitimate insistence that the Turkish Army, the Turkish State and its illegal Settlers and influence bugger off back to Turkey.

All CYs, including Acingoz, should be shouting things like "Turks Out" loudly and clearly.

Are you with us Brother Acingoz????

Don't twist it. I am a Turkish Cypriot and I am being told to go to Istanbul.

It was a racist act and it needs to be called as it is. Like the pakis go home chants it is about making someone feel not welcome in a country that is their home.

Accept it for what it is - man up. By making me uncomfortable for living in my homeland you are doing exactly what the Turkish Cypriots know you for. Xenophobic bigots. How can you expect one unified country, one democracy.

Give you power over my life - c'mon you have to show serious maturity to accept such responsibility.

Racists bigots.

"Turkish Cypriots", or anyone else, who support the presence of the occupying army do not deserve a place in Cyprus and should get lost.

(Although if you moved to Istanbul, we may have to move you on again ... )

Because your allegiance is to Turkey not Cyprus.

There's a clear difference which I explained and which you ignored, like you always ignore inconvenient truths.

Start showing allegiance to your homeland and watch the uncomforableness disappear.

Who wants power over your life? You're confusing Cyprus with Turkey. And that's the problem. You can't decide. No wonder the real Cypriots don't like you.

You still don't get it. A pluralistic society allows for differences of opinion. Just cause I don't approve of the RoC govt doesn't mean I should emigrate.

So much for freedom of speech - love us or f off - racist bigots.

C'mon. It won't hurt to say sorry for offending you, sorry for acting out because you disagree.

Unfortunately Acikgoz, the word 'racist' doesn't apply to Greeks... (at at least they think that).

They dish out the slander but actualy commit the crimes. Hypocritical to the core.
Freedom of speech - more like freedom to stop Turkish Cypriot speech.

What an abortion of humanity they are - at least the ones that appear to be active on this site.
