How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

When you give us back our rights you took in 1963 and our suffering in enclaves then talk to me about human rights
When you stop trying to have anything TRNC censored then talk to me about freedom of speech
When you stop isolating TCs and forcing them to live as 2nd class citizens in their homeland then talk to me about torture
When you start respecting your equals on the island then talk to me about respect
When you stop buying more weapons and posturing with other countries about creating threats on the island then talk to me about military in politics
When you normalise relationships with your neighbours across the green line then open your mouth
Laws are man made and implemented by man. International law is political - when you mature in geo-political realities then talk to me.

Basically stop throwing stones, the glass house you live in is in pieces all around you - note another metaphor. Look it up.

You are so funny, what an utter load of crap, are you serious.

You would do very well in a room with Banana and bir and crap these comments over each other and that would make you all jiz in your pants

Because what you just wrote is tantamount to that. Plonker

DT read it, consider it and deal with it.
GCs have committed and continue to commit foul and malicious actions.
I'm not laughing, you should cry if you were even a half decent human being.

Don't tell members of a club you wish to join how to run it. Go join another club where democracy and human rights work better; like Iran and your other eastern friends.

This is one wild, obstinate donkey the EU can well do without. No carrot can sweeten it, no stick can tame it.

MP, the point is, democracy is not universal, it is applied in certain formats. The EU is not a democracy, countries have veto rights.

Wild? No. Obstinate - no more obstinate than those who hurl abuses without considereing their own actions.
Let me know when the EU officially declares no free thinking, then I'll happily stay out -

One minute, am I out or am I in - can't decide - or is it the EU that can't decide - get's confusing when dealing with double dealers. - See what I mean? getting a glimpse?

You forfeited your rights when you spat the dummy in 1963, abandoned the constitution, declared it null & void, and later created a puppet regime! Now you belong to Turkey so go get your rights there.

When you stop trying to have anything TRNC censored then talk to me about freedom of speech

Whoever said freedom of speech is allowed in the occupied territory? You're not even allowed to breathe I'll have you know...

When you stop isolating TCs and forcing them to live as 2nd class citizens in their homeland then talk to me about torture

Nobody said invading Cyprus and killing tens of thousands of indigenous Cypriots comes without a price… you should’ve never come here in the first place!

When you start respecting your equals on the island then talk to me about respect

Come again? :?

When you stop buying more weapons and posturing with other countries about creating threats on the island then talk to me about military in politics

Weapons are good! They keep the enemies of Cyprus worried...

When you normalise relationships with your neighbours across the green line then open your mouth

Neighbors? All I see is enemies... just give up the illegalities boy!

Laws are man made and implemented by man. International law is political - when you mature in geo-political realities then talk to me.

Abide by international law dude...

If it’s in pieces then we've got nothing to lose.

Now, about that one way ticket we got you to Hestambull...

They sure do. Individual member countries - democracies - have veto rights; including little Cyprus. Them's the rules of the club Turkey wishes the join. You can shout and scream and huff and puff but nothing's going to change till you swallow that particular pill. Or stop banging on a door that will not open.

Turkey and the land its army controls in the north will stay out so long as it thinks giving people democracy, human rights, freedoms et al are 'sticks' that need 'carrots' to sweeten them.

Not really. It's clear you're confused. EU has nothing to decide. Turkey must decide. You see, Turkey thought the war was won in 1974, when in actual fact it was lost in 2004.

Spat the dummy - more like threatened at gunpoint.
Get Real - Get Real

If you've lost anything you've lost your humanity.

I read that as a racist statement, as clear as the bigots that chant "blacks out" or "pakis go home" - you about to do a public lynching? - are you a racist Get Real? You bet you are.

MP you know for once you could say hey we're not perfect and admit your faults.

I agree Turkey and TCs have plenty to answer for, but so does Greece and GCs.

Live in denial all you like. You want to silence the truth but you just cannot.

Neither British "blacks" nor "pakis", despite the discrimination they may have faced in the 60s and 70s, set up autonomous, illegitimate regimes in their host nation, supported by ruthless foreign invaders who killed, raped, tortured and ethnically cleansed non-blacks and non-pakis from their homes in Brixton or Bradford. See the difference?

MP read the statement again. Does that not sound like a racist statement.
