My lord Hermes Trismegistus has not yet welcomed you into the Fount ....

I suppose you'd also like to see - after the mass-sacrifice to Zeus- the ancient Olympic Games resurrected, with the male athletes competing en flagrante....

I almost fell off my chair reading this...VP,now you have been told by steve from uk....Turks are Wrong and Greeks are right...100%...

ehmmm, steve???? what do you think about the Turkish Cypriots????
Are they 100% wrong as well????
What about the British??? Why did you have to abandon us,Cypriots???
Didn't you realise we were going to slit each others throats????
maybe it is all the British fault??? What do you think steve????

The British came to Cyprus to civilise us,Cypriots, but left before the job was done??? Why did you do that ,steve??? I think it is all your fault,100%!!!

Really? Wasn't it the Otto-Turks who first "sold" Cyprus?

Sometimes things really are black and white. The Ottomans were 100% wrong in invading Cyprus. The Turks are 100% wrong in invading Cyprus. The Turks are 100% wrong in occupying Cyprus.

Hey,Oracle...Where does that leave the TCs???
300% wrong,I suppose....
Now the question is,shall we slit our wrists now,or shall we wait for EOKA C to slit our throats at a later date...Hmmmmmmmm what to do?? what to do??? :? :?

And what a shame you blame Cyprus instead of Turkey for diminishing your numbers so dramatically. Perhaps if you feel Cyprus has been so bad for you, then you should go back to the country which you think loves you so much that it would never harm you.

Another example of your flawed thinking.

And what kind of thinking is the view that TC's and GC's are going to be living happily ever after in a unitary state? I'd say "wishful" at the very least, but your definition - "flawed" - may be more appropriate.

Expat...Oracles thinking falls into one of the following categories....

1....Black or white (also known as all or nothing)

2...Catastrophising...(also known as maximising the negatives of the "enemy")

3...Libeling (also known as calling your "enemy" all the evil names under the sun,and some under the moon!)

4...Mind reading (when she tells you why you do things)

5....Fortune telling (where she tells you what is in store if you dont agree with her)...

I will think of some other categories as I concentrate my attentions on her..

these are all cognitive distortions associated with PTSD or bipolar illness...
She is not well...Please go easy on her... :)

Which is why a UN sponsored repatriation program may well be the best solution for them, and it’s not like they’re not eager to join their motherland Turkey.
