its entirely up to you if you want to smoke in your own home, but i will tell you the gov want to stop it hence the reason the price of the cigiies go up.
its like crunch time, there is a massive problem with smoking related issues being a burden therefore the gov have done something about it.
bit like london in the centre, you pay daily, weekly, monthly or annually to drive in certain areas to cut emisions, and the road tax goes up so people think f**k it im getting a push bike or going to work by tube or train.bus.
to the gov its great as its cars off the roads and the pub thing is to make encourage folks to quit too, you see

going back to the smoking in pubs etc, i personally think its a good idea to ban it in pubs.
the thing is passive smoking is extremely harmful and the government will do anything they can to make cut backs.
smoking related illnesses put a massive strain on the nhs, therefore the smoking in public places had to stop to lessen the strain.
it should be kept that way, after all we dont want the taxes going up do we, as thats what will happen if the nhs has to continue funding illnesses related to smoking/passive smoking.

Wrong on all counts!

1) There is no real evidence of the dangers of passive smoking.

2) The government gets much more tax revenue from smoking than it costs the NHS.

It is not and has never been about health - it is about control.
