Benefits of a negotiated partition

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

The benefits of partition outweigh the costs.

Benefits of a negotiated partition

Postby Expatkiwi » Mon Jan 04, 2010 1:51 am

People on this forum love giving doom and gloom assessments of what would happen if the partition was formalized. Perhaps its time that there be a concerted effort to look at the other side of the coin and see what there would be to gain by having the island of Cyprus being made up of two fully recognized sovereign nations. So the question is: if a negotiated partition was done on the basis of the TRNC's 37% being pared back to around 25%, a demilitarization of both countries of foreign forces, and a total pledge of no annexation to any other country (namely Greece and Turkey), how would that BENEFIT both sides?

Get out of here you silly turd!

I must be hitting a nerve with you, GR. If I'm nothing but 'a silly turd', you'd just be ignoring me, just like I'm now ignoring B25 and Boomerang (my new year's resolution for this forum).

Here’s a question for you…

Why don’t you tell us what the benefits are if you share your mother’s arse with the neighborhood?

What’s the matter? You think a whore that gave birth to a heap of shit like you is worth more than Cyprus?
