How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Certain people may not be happy to hear that I've reported them to the moderator for various 'pics' they have added to this forum. Let's see what Svetlana will make of them...

You've been reported to the moderator, GR. That above remark was pretty disgusting, even for you. You may not like me or my views on Cyprus very much, but you keep my family out of it. I don't go around slandering your family.

Sorry, GR, but this question is for all of the forum.

Get out of here you silly turd!

I must be hitting a nerve with you, GR. If I'm nothing but 'a silly turd', you'd just be ignoring me, just like I'm now ignoring B25 and Boomerang (my new year's resolution for this forum).

Yes, you are ignoring me so much that my name is constantly on your lips  FO you moron, how is partitioning any country beneficial to anyone.

Tell you fat ugly Turkish Turd denktash to put it in a pipe and smoke it.

Plonker!

You were absent for months and when you returned farm4.static.flickr.com/3094/3121633978_da3758aeaf_o.jp... the only thing you did was provoke others.
No one provoked you on October 2nd the day you drew a nazi swastika on the Greek Embassy. farm4.static.flickr.com/3127/3121614194_623d86788c_o.jp...
You have no excuse.
And instead of apologizing for offending others you are now trying to change the subject of this thread telling us that we don't like you just because you added places in northern Cyprus. This is absolutely false. What we don't want here at this website is any kind of hatred. Simply as that.
You obviously fail to understand it.

I don't understand you, Mitsver. And I don't think I want to understand you. I can be the subject of hate, and I have to take it, is that right?

mitsver said
what exactly don't you understand? The swastika you drew? Or the fact that this symbol is provocative?

You folk provoked me. Anyway, I'll be requesting a termination of my account on Wikimapia. It's no longer worth debating with folk like you.

so no problem with the use of pictures, huh?...

Ignoring indecencies and obscenities from certain members, I would like to point out that there is at least one benefit to a negotiated partition: neither side would have to live with the specter of intercommunal conflict reigniting. That alone will rebuild trust, and will eventually lead to a reconciliation some years down the line. The trading off of the TC properties in the south with the GC properties in the north, with compenastion paid out to cover the rest will also go far to redressing matters, along with the redrawing of the border so that the TC's current percentage of 37% of the island will be reduced to 25% or thereabouts. I personally think that this can work.

Expat, I haven't counted one real comment just rabid fans at a football match with some pic editing skills.
Sry Palio to join you in with the others, you did actually make a comment that wasn't obscene. Even the comment about the pics wasn't offensive - not on board with killing Dutch cartoonists.
But really, it's a valid point Expat raises particularly in the light that mindsets on both sides of the island are moving closer toward that direction.

I am absolutely disgusted with many of the posts on this thread, most of which have been deleted. If this is the best certain CF members can do i suggest they post elsewhere.

To call what I have read this morning 'childish' would be to insult the integrity of children. If people cannot be trusted then tolerance levels will be reduced. In future if your posts are deleted do not bother to pm me to ask why.
