Can you find a post of mine where I do what you accuse me of doing (justifying T policy re the kurds)? If you can not will you publicaly withdraw the accusation and applogise for making it?

No, because you know full well I can't be bothered to go through your 2209 posts to check. And no, I will not retract my statement, but hows this? Kurds feel they are an oppressed minority (of around same TC amount of close to 20%), why not give them a big quota in the Turkish Parliament, why not give them status of their language as official?

You don't even notice the double standards until they slap you in the face.

So you happily make accusations about me, that you can not back up, and then refuse to retract them and then you expect me to particpate in further discussion with you? And this behaviour from someone claiming to be a fan of Chomsky!

Hardly double standards. TCs have not murdered innocent GCs to the sum of about 35000 as the PKK have in eastern Turkey. They did not rebel, it was the Junta that started this conflict and the Turks simply finished it.

Typical American ignorance, I have explained this in many other posts and refuse to simply repeat myself again. Next you will tell me Vietnam was a 'Good intentions gone awry' story.

Just to show how totaly wrong you accusation was and how totaly 'un chomscian' your personal approach is (citing other works without refereances to the original, making claims that are unspportable and refusing to even bother to support them, finding evidence to support a pre concieved notion rather than using evidence to inform your notions, plagiarism, lack of any humilty and the such like) and to show how ridiculous your claim is that 'I cant be bothered to search your 2000+ posts to support my accusation)

I searched my posts for the word kurds. This took less than 20 seconds to do. There are 36 of them. In the second (time order wise of these) I say

PS I would also add this same logic and reasoning is why I believe the Kurds should be recognised as a people and treated accordingly. They pre date the formation of the states in which they live - thus should be judged not on the 'single state' approach but on the 'criteria list' approach (which they clearly meet). I believe that for the same reasons that Turkey supports the rights of a TC people in Cyprus they should also support the rights of a Kurdish people in Turkey (and elsewhere). I condem this incosistency in Turkish policy (just as I condem incosistnecy elsewhere).

Though it is true that this view has been one of the few that I have modified somewhat following discussion in these forum having gained more insight and information about the issue from those who have a better understanding than I did back then.

There is one of us who apparently can not see double standards even when they slap them in the face and it's not me as far as I am concerned.

I suggest u to know more about history and the social and politic events. because that were the times of emerging of nation-states so all these states wanted their independence because of this fact. Nationalism was the major ideal in those times for. besides, maybe you know about the Quebec whih is located within the Canada and they want authonomy and apart from her. so do you think that they want it because Canadian people or government are killing, insulting or raping them? the answer is definetely no. they support partition just because of language difference...maybe it is seen very simple for you but it is not for them and all the reason was nationalism in that period.

the whole of nc is not a war crime, it is a war with a ceasefire respected for over 30 yrs.
a war started by athens and carried out by gcs.
it stays in such state until a solution is found. ask his excellency paps (the liar) to find an acceptable constitution and this war ends.
