You are anything BUT a Cypriot! Being “Cypriot” is not just about living here and/or being born here!

First and foremost, it’s about acknowledging and recognizing the 10,000 year old Cypriot inheritance of the indigenous people, because a country is NOT a country without its native people; that’s just a land mass but it’s the people with their HISTORY & CULTURE that make up a nation, not a bunch of slopes and trees!

So you use a foreign flag to become your own avatar.??? Why not use the Union Jack.? That where you have lived most of your life, haven't you.? You are a British Citizen, aren't you.? But you prefer to use a flag from a nation which you yourself has stated that you have been boycotting Turkey for the past 35 years. I guess that was for them not ethnically cleansing more GCs from their land around your village where some of your family's land is now part of the south. I caught the thread late, but to answer Bananiot's original dilemma, BBF or partition.

Following the proposan by Talat yesterday (Saturday Jan. 9) by which he wants the freedom of residence, establishment etc, for Turkish citizens, then it is fair guess that most of us would rather choose partition. That of course assumes that these are the only two choices, which they are not.

And you are 100% correct I am not a "Cypriot" I am a Turkish Cypriot living not in south Cyprus but the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus which looks like it will be around forever due to your hard work, thanks once again.
