The New Turkish Lira banknotes and coins will be withdrawn from circulation as of the 1st of January.

However, the New Turkish Lira banknotes will be redeemed for a period of ten years starting from the 1st of 2010 at the branches of the TRNC Central Bank.

The New Turkish Lira banknotes will be worthless as of the 1st of January 2020.
