Any idea what I am talking about DT?

How long did you sit down to think of this reply?

I would go through your sceptism. So you wouldn't mind if I came to your house and picked up a few electronics I need for the sake of peace between us. How about your car aswell?

And it becomes personal when it comes to your personal properties that you rightfully own. Jesus you say your 49 years old and you still need a 21 year old boy who lived 28 years less life experiences from you to make you understand that the stuff that comes out of your mouth is nonsense

Leave the condascending attitude for other nitwits on this forum who have no idea how to handle your global-citizen, love all, tree hugging, soap dodging number.

How can you start a friendship between 2 communities when one of the communities is starting this friendship off by ACCEPTING "my house and my whole village, my school, the cemetery where all my relatives are buried, the whole place of my dreams"

Who the hell are your friends?

As I thought, you have no idea of what I am talking about. By the way, these were my views before 1974, when we were on top.

Dear FD...Take it from this 58 year old that, "it is always better to keep your mouth shut and let people suspect you have nothing to say, than open it and remove all doubt" ...(And that didnt take me long to think up...It is a quote I like very much, one I have been trying to live by most of my life....)...Bananiot did not say people should not or would not receive compensation for their losses...That goes without saying...He was simply pointing out that, in the big picture, what really matters is peace and friendship and respect and mutual trust etc....And to achieve that we should all be prepared to make sacrifices...I am a TC whose family lost everything (hundreds of donums of land plus houses, stables etc) and I am prepared to sacrifice it all to achieve the kind of peace Bananiot is talking about...But in any just solution people will of course be compensated...It is the sentiment that matters. our willingness to embrace each other as equals, human beings with faults, regrets, mistakes, and hopefully the ability to come to terms with our very complex past...The ability to forgive and to say sorry...

Hitler was much younger than you when he became a fascist FD. Your age is no excuse and I bet, since ideology is inherited in Cyprus, your parents and the rest of your family, are no lesser fascists than you. By the way, where did you get the idea that I am 49 years old? And it is best to go through my thoughts (or mindset) not my sceptism.

Birkibrisli, it should have been the other way round. We should be the arteriosclerotics, not young people. What is happening in Cyprus?

Bananiot, don't you think that you're going a bit overboard with the "Fascist" branding?
