The most important political problem for me is: will Europe move on as a community of national states or will it transform into a multicultural political entity with man at its centre? I choose the latter and I know that a necessary prerequisite for things to move in this direction is through ideology. Politically, I choose to overcome nation states. In the country I live I choose to cross swords with the ideology of the establishment (which I know only too well, for in the past it has turned me into a national Greek). Naturally this is very difficult because the consequences can be huge and you can easily be branded as an enemy of the community. The easy thing to do is to live, lets say in Turkey, and wage a struggle against greekness or, to live in Cyprus and concentrate your fire on the Turkish nation. I write about what GC's did against the Others in this place, in the name of the interests of the nation, but never see the light because they create shock.

P.S. Full moon today, but its a blue moon.

If growing hunger of growing world population nad the anger of this growing world population besides getting lesser food and energy resources don't lead us to a new ww or a chemical warfare... or if that giant meteor doesn't hit the world... or bosses of globalization can't succeed "massacre" 9/10 of world population with their very unique and very difficult to detect methods... yes, EU could have a chance to transform into a multi-cultural, political entity...

However, since the ultimate goal is globalism and one world government with an easily controllable world population; after the "final" world disaster; whole world will be tranformed into a "masters and servants" order...

They just have been waiting the right time comes and carry out the last step of transformation into a one world government...

EU is the evil with an angel face.... it won't take long to show us it's evil face...

Masters of globalism believe in being the most powerful, never losing that power and live the most luxurious life on planet earth by making the servants serve their interests and suffer...

as it stands today the future is uncertain...even more uncertain as the plates are on the move, and proven from past history, the continents joining up again to a one large mass...what will happen then is anyones guess as populations will disappear as places of today will become unliveable...yes a long way to go but surely a certainty...take a llook at the salt mines in polland...200 plus feet undergound...

http://www.cracow-life.com/poland/wieliczka-salt-mines

other factors will come into play as the core is cooling down diminishing with it protrection from harmfull rays...this one not so far away...

and as you correctly stated meteors always play a big part as well...

the question is, will mankind survive or are we going the way of other extinctions...this we will never know...

Brilliant, sums up my feelings exactly but how can we turn the tide when the media, instructed by the money men, tell us that "greed is good". How do we sink the obscene cruise liners and build more floating hospitals? How do I persuade a relative that she does not need 100 pairs of shoes or the likes of Jeremy Clarkson that 0 - 60 in 2 seconds is not important. The consumer needs a new focus, perhaps unwittingly nature has found the answer; go green or face extinction.

That's it,Jerry....Go green or face extinction....But we will not go green at the speed we need to....So we are bound for extinction....As long as we are run by politicians who are elected or reelected by appealing to our baser instincts like greed and self-interest we are doomed...

I don't wish to demean this very important topic but a "joke" has occurred:-

Perhaps Jeremy Clarkson could show us how to go from greed to green in 2 seconds

Boomers, fast cars are works of art, they should be appreciated for what they are but they have little practical use. Hang them on the wall in the Louvre and award the deserving citizens a drive once a year instead of MBEs etc.

It's been almost 9 years i have dialogue with GCs on this forum that we mostly disagreed on essentials of Cyprus problem and how it could be solved...

I feel, I've reached a full stop by running around the same circles and going nowhere...

I'm not claiming i was right "u" were wrong but I'd wish to reach a common ground with at least a considerable number of GCs... it didn't happen...

in the seventies it was tough living as an immigrant in OZ...you couldn't speak your own language or have your own lunch at school in fear of getting ridiculed and in some cases getting your head kicked in...those times are gone...today we thrive on multiculturism...

in the '70 only wogs drunk wine...today OZ is one of the biggest exporters of quality wines, found on just about every dinner table...and this in the space of 20-30 years...

with the roc joining the eu i see, and from this forum is starting to take a foothold...in the next 15 years it will thrive...

every OZ government document is published in every language...i could see the roc evolving in short period of time...maybe a bit early, but in the long term unvoidable if not unstopable...

The citizen of the world

You talk to me about those who got lost
You talk to me about hostile countries
I talk to you about two birds who fell in love
And you only breed insults in your chest

But I am a citizen, a citizen of the whole planet
And a tragic planet, oh my country
Greece, is my neighbourhood, Europe is my State
The Mediterranean a Square of my youth
My mind runs in other places that nobody knows
And in Suns never seen
I search in other galaxies to find those values
I don't want to believe they got lost.

You talk about fights and injustice
About nations with hostile borders
I talk to you about flowers that have fledged
But the fire in your eyes burns them out.

But I am a citizen, a citizen of the whole planet
And a tragic planet, oh my country
Greece, is my neighbourhood, Europe is my State
The Mediterranean a Square of my youth
My mind runs in other places that nobody knows
And in suns never seen
I search in other galaxies to find those values
I don't want to believe they got lost.
