When you answer my question please answer them in a more clear satisfying way showing the real picture for the excuse of smoking while being pregnant. Just by saying you met a woman it says that all women do it thus you eliminate the point I am trying to prove from this question. For some forumers in here by the statement you said they will realise this -> the ratio of Women Smoking while pregnant and Women not smoking when pregnant will be 10:1. Is this true? Think not

Smoking is bad for you, and for the others out there I do smoke, I do realise that smoking around others is bad for people who do not want to smell this poisonous smoke so I RESPECT THEM. Let's hope other people out there have the sufficient brain power to realise what they are doing to the non-smokers.

probably but its still not my place to say anything to her no matter how wrong i think she is..

i have only met one or two that have done it i think most women are not stupid enough to do it..

Visited an old mate's pub last night right opposite the sea ,in Limassol , as I walked in through the large open doors it hit me right up the nostrils . Tobacco fumes ! Half a dozen English ex-pats having a good old laugh , four men and two women sat at the end of the bar facing the sea , a drink in one hand and a smelly fag in the other , went up to the bar , Paul spotted me and welcomed me in , known him since 1979 and last saw him a month ago .
I gently remarked about the oncoming smoke ban and asked for his view , No good for business he hasten to add. Drinkers he went on to say , have a drink and a cigarette , cant have it any other way. Well I replied , give me a bottle of red a proper glass and I will show you how one drinker can enjoy the wine without interference on the taste buds from tar.
Further in the pub another four Brits , 2 middle- elder age couples , the two women sounded when talking - they never stopped -as if they had swallowed a frog , having a drink and a fag , interrupted occasionally by a chesty craw like cough .One of the ladies who did most of the talking and coughing , sounded Welsh , almost dropped her teeth in her G&T as she coughed , quickly shoving them back in their rightful place with a flair only mastered by ladies of the night brigade !!

A known to me Cypriot came up to me and wished me hronia polla , apse napsoume koumbare he said !!!

Finished my wine and headed home by taxi I may add, showered to get rid of the stale tobacco on my cloths , had my 6 hours compulsory sleep and I'm now preparing to visit Cyprus's one and only Stroumbi The Great in the capital of Cyprus Paphos the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite amongst many great Cypriots not least my dear friend Birkibrisly born a stones throw from where I was born.

Sounds like your mate's pub was full of smokers!

I wonder where they will go when the smoking ban comes into force...?

I was arguing with some friends yesterday about the smoking ban (they are visiting from the UK). I argued that there should be freedom of choice - that owners of bars and restaurants should be able to choose if they are smoking or non-smoking.

In that way, both smokers and non-smokers would have the freedom to choose if they frequented an establishment which allowed or banned smoking...

One of the friends said - "but what if the smoking restaurant was really nice? It wouldn't be fair that I couldn't go in there"

Hand >>> face.
