Don't get me wrong, I think America is a great country and Americans are very nice, as I have spent considerable time there and have got to know some awesome people, but your appreciation and analysis of world affairs leaves a lot to be desired. Your ignorance is shear bliss, so the last thing you should be doing is giving others lectures about smoking...

thing is,now i am a nonsmoker i absolutely hate it. cant stand going out in smoky places and coming home stinking of fags. and smokers are so slefish, they dont care about other people at all, only themselves and about getting their fix (like crack addicts)

the smoking ban is very welcome.

You will find that the Cypriots who smoke also consider themselves , especially the women , to be cool !!!!! THEY ALSO BEHAVE LIKE RACING DRIVERS ON THE ROADS AND ARE PROUD OF IT.

It used to be a social act way back in mid twentieth century where now the heaviest and most prolific smokers are, in no particular order , the Bangladeshis, Pakistanis , Al Qaeda members including GR , Yemenis, Turks of Turkey and Kurds , and most in the third world including the Cypriots who one would think that it would be appropriately proper when baptized to have a fag inserted up the bum . Cant believe that so much smoking is taking place. Plonkers they all are and mostly the smelly women .
Cant tell you how much I detest this dated dirty smelly drug.

a couple points you are missing milti

1...democrasy/human rights are earned, not imposed
2...america should stick her nose out of other peoples business...

america only gets involved when she has a gain...no gain no involvement...simple as that...

look at the problem we are facing...heaps of UN condemantions and the US sits on the sidelines...some fucking great country wouldn't you say?...

The is absolutely no difference between a Talibani fighter killing innocent bystanders from the V1/V2 bombings of London, the nuclear bombing of Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, the B25 carpet bombing of Germany. The Taliban killed a few innocent bystanders, and yet the 'civilised' Allies killed millions of citizens in WW2 and the 'civilised' Germans also killed millions, and even gassed 6 million Jews for good measure.

You are racist against the Afghan people, who have more civilisation than Britain. You are disgusting and should be ashamed. :roll:

You need to comprehend the fact that human kind has the ability to be the most cruel species on the planet, and we are all part of this so called species which we say is so 'civilised', and that includes Afghans, Americans, Cypriots and Turks.

All you need to do is take a look at Rwanda's history, and you will see how barbaric and cruel we humans are capable of being, so please do not slag off on the Afghans because the fact of the matter is, you could not meet a more polite, civilised and humble group of people who have been downtrodden for many decades. You need to understand also, that the coalition does NOT really give a damn about the Afghans, even though it really should. The coalition preaches the words of democracy, and human rights in Afghanistan because it suits our anti terror objectives, and the needs of the poor Afghan people are only of secondary importance, so the coalition is not Mother Teresa even though we try to portray it as such in order to achieve our own objectives.

But still, even if our selfish needs will somehow free the Afghans from the Taliban, then I suppose that would be a good thing, because they certainly have suffered far too much! Cypriots have also suffered far too much, but I don't see anyone fighting our corner.
