but you said your originally turkish so wouldent that make home turkey?

If you origins are Greek does that mean you have to go back to Greece? If we should take what you say as being right there would be no one left but the native indians in the USA. We belong to this island and we will fight for our rights.

but no one can be sure of what will happen.. if you wait and your new president stops attending meetings and shows the world they are not intrested the world wont be kind to the illigal state i think this new leader will make sure there is no TRNC anymore not officially or physically partitioned.. or will it? no one can be sure both sides want their own version of a solution and are so sure it will happen but you cant know this for sure.. only time will tell on this one.. but a no solution is more costly for turkey

More than one way to skin a cat, your leaders demanded open ended negotiations so another 5 years is also open ended all he has to do is pay lip service and he will be fine. As for all this doom and gloom you predict for Turkey dates come and go and still nothing you epople are really deluded as to thinking the EU give a shit, sorry but they show no signs of presurizing Turkey into a corner still no ports and no recognition of the 'RoC'.

unfortunatly i am just one man the choice is far from mine. i am just one vote.. but even if it was up to me i would never fold i would never accept two states officialy in cyprus..

You better prepare yourself because thats the only offer on the table.

no this is cyprus nothing to do with greece or turkey...

plus we are not the one demanding two states on someone elses land..

we are happy to live together.. you on the other hand and many that think like you are in cyprus of free will yet hate the people that live there.. if you go to england and hate the english or americans why go there

We have tried living together it didnt work, so it was agreed that living apart which has proven sucessful 36 years of proof that the best structure for Cyprus would be BBF with political equality, thats what is supported by the world and on the table right now.

Why are you happy to live together? is it because you love us so much or is it because it will give you the free hand to manipulate democracy to rule the whole island forcing us into minority status without an effective say in our own future?

I dont hate English or American people they have done nothing to me and when I visit their countries I am a foreigner but I am not a foreigner in Cyprus this is my country where I will not be pushed to one side.

I think you've put it all in a nutshell, VP. I couldn't have said it any better myself.

So when do you plan to bugger off the island? Don't wait until the NG gathers momentum and then cry foul!

I think I'd better steer this thread back to the topin of the TRNC flag... As I said earlier, I think it is well designed and looks good fluttering on a flagpole. I mean, don't you get that stirring feeling in your chest when you see the TRNC flag rippling in the breeze?

Don’t be stupid! I’m an indigenous descendant of 10,000 year old Choirokitian inheritance!

You should bow down when you talk to me! Image

So why not let Cypriots enjoy their island in their villages
in peace and harmony
without
placing us in danger
and
gifting this island
to Turkey?
