What Is This?

Postby kafenes » Sun Dec 27, 2009 11:16 pm

They are either lots of them around or it's the same one coming back time after time after I throw it away over the fence. The dog keeps staring at it and barking his head off and it's becoming very annoying. Any one know what it's called?

Thanks Insan. do you have a recipe for it which you recommend? :)
@Buccaneer, I have seen caterpillars before but nothing which resembles this. It is around 8cm long and 2cm wide. BTW can someone also tell me how to post the full picture rather then the thumbnail?

I've seen many of those in the past. We have lots in our village, falling off the vines and crawling around. They seem really intelligent

I'll have a google and see, as my dear dad, who knew everything about Cypriot beasties, is no longer around to fill me in ....

Erm ... what a lot of scary caterpillars!

The nearest to yours, Kafenes, seems to be the Monarch caterpillar ... but I can't find one exactly like it.
