And so Zeus commanded that the New Testament be written in the language of wisdom, the language of Greeks, and yet Christianity in its very nature destroyed Greek polytheism, prohibited Hellenic liberalism, and free thought!

The Platonic argument that the spirit is good and the flesh is evil was deemed as heretic, as Jesus can't be God, and neither was the notion accepted that Jesus can be less than fully God and fully human at the same time.

Syncretism is clearly seen in the parallelism of the Rabbinic writings, the Old Testament apocrypha, and the writings of the Greco-Roman philosophers, and this bears no resemblance to Hellenic Philosophy.

It seems you must cleanse your spirit by firstly being honest with yourself before you consider yourself a part of the Illuminati for the Resurrection of the Hellenic/Cypriot ethos, and so Oracle it seems you are the Helot from Arcadia or Messinia, since this is where you hail from (Kalamata), whilst my ancestry has always been in Cyprus for at least 10,000 years, but Hellenic/Cypriot nonetheless! 8)

First you must untangle the corruption from the Roman Catholic Church before you see the purity of the Orthodox Church and its constituent parts built up from the Olympian Gods and the teachings of the prophet philosophers. Plato said many things and his Hellenistic religion continued well into the 4th Century CE before being driven to apocrypha within Byzantium by the Romans (not the Greeks!) until the RC went too far with their Monotheism into Papacy .... But start with Epictetus' Moral Discourses if you are seriously wanting Illumination

The Holy War expects the pious to glorify them. The unfaithful wait for Death to visit them. The professional fighters organize the Holly National-Liberating Fight throughout Cyprus. Don’ t stay alone. Organize in the Church of Cypriots. Preach the Divine Message of Aphrodite.

Barbarian, your arrogance precedes you. Please submit Epictetus' discourses for careful consideration from the Templar Knights of Olympia, but be weary that Epictetus is but a mere mortal man and child of Gods who provided him with wisdom and enlightenment, and he would never allow his works to be hijacked in order to justify the teachings of the monotheist Beast! 8)

Oh c'mon Oracle! Why on earth would I read Epictetus Philosophy? Why Epictetus and not Socrates, Plato or Zenon?

Why don't you spark my interest by submitting some of Epictetus discourses which I might find intriguing and I might just go out and get the book!

I will have you know that I actually love free thought and Greek Philosophy, but alas, I really only have time to peruse technical manuals which are a bit dry... :(

So what books do you recommend? :)
