....and what's wrong with Eastern Bloc countries and their inhabitants? Many of them are highly educated; a friend of mine who worked in Air Traffic Control in St Petersburg now works on a building site in Cyprus.

But I suppose they are no match to the Ladies who inhabit the Spence tower blocks of the Gorbals!

A further irony; has it occurred to you that all British people in Cyprus are really 'bloody foreigners'?

Lana, I'm with you 100% on this....
In my opinion, there are lovely ladies from all over the world... and I'd be happy to meet a special lady no matter of where she's from, if the opportunity ever arises!!!...

Most of us have roots far back in our history from somewhere foreign and this only makes us who we are today... I think unfortunately in general we all get stereotyped into groups rather than looked at as an individuals, most of the nicest and sincerest people I have met have been anything but British, which has opened the doors to the real world and opportunities in understanding people.... and more importantly... myself.. ....

May the "New Year" open your eyes Willie.... and remember that one day your MOT will expire and that alternative garages can be just as good, if not better to what you're used to (especially if you're a classic car)... A mixture of happiness and health is the key, you can't really have one without the other!!!
