Do GCs really understand what TCs want?

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Pro-partitionist does not necessarilly mean GC-hater, Palio. Amicable divorce is a good simile here. Kind of like Slovakia's leaving the Czechoslovak federation.

Partition=taking my ancestral land you genius. Splitting my island in 2 and confiscating my town Morphou.

So the trick is to take my property and then tell me you don't hate me. Genius :D

P.S How many Slovakians were displaced for the Czech Republic to be formed and vice versa?

Amicable divorce means you pack your suitcase and go back to your mum!

Excellent reply! :D

No "divorcee" takes for himself what did not belong to him before the "marriage".

Essentially everything I heard from the Turkish Cypriots and anatolian Turks in our properties in Kyrenia basically ends with ME remaining ETHNICALLY CLEANSED so they can sell my house to foreign property speculators because the house and properties in the Kyrenia region are in a scenic water front location, location, location.

I personally have to pay so they can have" Self determination". I don't understand why the Turkish Cypriots in question can't have "self determination" where they actually come from in St Nicolas, Paphos . Santa brought me squatters! Maybe because that particular village is an ugly sh&t hole and the Anatolian turks in another house we have come from a poor and uglier place too. For Turkish Cypriots "self determination" has to occur on nice real estate and in most cases someone else's' not their own. Legal title and the human rights of the actual owner are just an annoying formalities.

What they want and what they need are two different things... the latter being a good kick in the arse!

So everything that happened before 74 is just a load of shit. You just carry on crapping all over this forum, so long as you can root and all is well. We are all going to our houses eventually in about 10 thousand million years.
At least you can enjoy yourself.

Kali orexi

What do tragic & senseless murders 11 years earlier & about 100 kilometers have to do with my 100% Greek owned town where no Turkish Cypriots were abused being part of the Turkish ethnic cleansing masterplan? There is ZERO connection with the two but the Turkish Cypriots in my house enjoying water views will insist MY HOUSE is necessary to their "self determination".

You have already told them what the TCs want, haven't you.?

Did the 65% of the north not said "YES" to the Annna Plan.?

Did the 76% of the south not said "NO" to the Annna Plan.?

What more do the GCs need to tell you in what it is that you want.?

If what you want is no longer the AP, then why don't you tell them what is it that you do want, if it's different than your below statement.!

How relevant is the example of Czechoslovakia to Cyprus? To judge by the following quote, from

Linguistic minorities in Slovakia by Martin Votruba (page 6)

http://www.pitt.edu/~votruba/sstopics/a ... ovakia.pdf

As opposed to all the other ethnic groups, there are no villages in Slovakia with a traditional or current Czech minority. The approximately 800 year-old stable national border between Slovakia and the Czech lands (i.e. part of the former border between the Kingdom of Hungary and Austria) is a unique border in Central Europe: there is no Slovak-Czech overlap of traditional communities on either side.

not particularly.
