I,ve got a 280cdi Merc it does about 28/30 mpg around town and 40/45 mpg on a run thats the best I ever got 45mpg stuck behind a truck doing about 50mph for some distance.These figures are the ones that show up on the dash when your driving,so I take it they are accurate.
