My flight to the UK today has been cancelled; managed to rebook for tomorrow - assuming flights have resumed.

Pre-paid my London hotel, so no refund for tonight, prepaid my train trip to Norwich for tomorrow so no refund...Bah Humbug.

It could be worse .... you could be stuck in the UK trying to get out! :?

Silly question, Lana, but what about playing safe with travel insurance?

I never play safe! I booked using a debit card which, as far as I am aware provides no insurance. The best value insurance is booking with a Platinum AMEX - it is really comprehensive.

A further Yuk !

Hi Palio

If you are in London, go to Totenham Court Road station and walk north; it is electronics heaven!

Actually, I should not be too worried about missing London shopping; the average number of people per shop in the EU is 100, in Pafos there is 1 shop for every 18 residents!!! It is just crazy and not sustainable.

Cambridge is a wonderful place, as long as you do not have a car!
Tottenham Court Road is in the West End of London.

I am picking up a new Acer netbook and dropping off my Acer laptop for repair!
