I was born in Cyprus but now live in Sydney.

I've been to:

USA:
Houston, Texas- who gives a shit. Stay home.
L.A.- horrible.
Hawaii- get off the main island which sucks ass then its beautiful.


Africa/ Asia/Pacific:
Fiji, museum display of cannibalism is yuck.Very cheap as there is a coup once a week. I think I will avoid it in future incase I get eaten -plus - I have made a resolution to limit travel to democracies.
Thailand Bangkok & Phuket -some of the best food in the world
Vietnam all over- see above. My koumbaro married a Vietnamese girl from Hanoi.Fantastic cook. No need to travel anymore until they have a democracy.
Indonesia, Bali- filthy. Htijasmenoi.
New Zealand North and South Islands.
Queenstown is a favorite. Maybe 30 times for skiing and work.I have skiied:
Coronet Peak
Cardronna
Treble Cone
Mt Olympus
Mt Dobson (For sale for only 2 million)
Mt Hutt
& Mt Ruapehu on North Island.
Jet boats at Lake Taupo/huka falls and Shot over river.
Bungee at Shot over river.
Wellington for beautiful loose women and nightlife.
Parts of Christchurch and Aukland look like the Bronx.
South Korea, Seoul .My girlfriend was from there.I tried dog. Not bad.
Japan, Osaka for Skiing. Amazing.I can't believe it is now cheaper than skiing in Australia
Singapore- sweaty clinical dictatorial shit hole -one big shopping mall.
Dubai- sweaty dusty- stay home if you don't like shopping
AbuDubi- see above
Israel, Jerusalem I was a kid. I think I am now a Hajdi
Egypt, Pyramids blew my mind. The people suck.


Europe:
Rome- overrated overpriced and the people are rude.eat where locals eat.
Cyprus- I wanna go home to Kyrenia gamoto.
Greece-
Athens. Thieves and crooks. Bad concrete architecture. Got out of the airport to hail a cab.Loaded my luggage into the boot of the taxi. The cab then drove off with my luggage without me. Poushto kalamaraes.How can this shit hole be the capital of "Hellenism". Lambron na tous kapsei.
UK, London.Sorry. Not for me. Rain,rain, bad food, rain, overpriced shopping, rain. Most cliches are true. They DO all have bad teeth.

In Australia:

QLD:
Cairns- You have to time your trip or cop poison Jelly fish and crocodiles in the surf. I flew 3000 kms to swim in pool. Lucky my work paid. Boat cruises of barrier reef/rainforest/whitewater rafting good. Scenic cable car through forests- was fantastic. Troodos needs one.
Brisbane/Gold Coast. Over commercialized soulless. I wish it all gets swept away by a Tsunami.
Noosa/Sunshine Coast. OK surfing spots for a beginner and nice forest. Overrated.

NSW
SYDNEY where I now live. Biggest city in Oceania with pockets of unique and beautiful national park forests. Let down by bad infrastructure public transport. Get a car and a national park pass. Go to Bondi,Coogee but avoid Cronulla beach or you may get tarred and feathered by white supremacists.
Central, mid & North Coast- all the good things about QLD without any of the negatives.

South Coast, NSW Wollongong,Shoalhaven, Batemans Bay, Narooma to Eden/Merimbula. Secluded & natural. Too cold to swim before October.

Perisher/ Thredbo/ Mt Selwyn. Most expensive place in the world to ski. 2 days at Thredbo cost the same as 15 in New Zealand including airfares.
Outback NSW Broken Hill -why the hell did I go there?
Lightning Ridge & Moree thermal baths after I busted my knee skiing.Aboriginal culture.

Northern Territory
Darwin-very cosmopolitan/multicultural city considering how tiny it is. Amazing seafood and Asian food.
Alice Springs/ Uluru just google it. Not worth the trip.Who gives a shit!

Western Australia

Perth people have too much money not enough taste. City has more millionaires than anywhere else in the world. Drive to Margaret river if you have time.
Really keen on a trip to Broome to see my god father and gentle giant whale sharks. Similar to Darwin in some ways I am told.

Victoria
Melbourne- Boring (except for Mornington Peninsula)

Ski resorts:
Mt Buller Ski resort using massive amounts of recycled water for snow making. (its success could easily be replicated at Troodos) , Mt Hotham , Falls Creek(best Victorian resort).Accomodation is cheaper than in NSW.

Tasmania

Very Cool!Pristine wilderness. Produces best cheese, beer & whiskey I have had. Steak from King island is the best I've ever had. Only place south enough where magical bull kelp can be fed to cows.

I have skied Ben Lomond. a small club field. Cheap but unreliable so you have to come in the thick of winter.

Hobart has good nightlife for such a tiny little place.
