Remains of Tassos Papadopoulos burried in Paris??

How can we solve it? (keep it civilized)

Postby Kikapu » Sat Dec 19, 2009 9:48 pm

"Another reason is Tassos Papadopoulos left in his will his desire to be buried abroad until Cyprus is liberated from Turkish occupation."

If this is true, and we don't have the copy of the will to confirm or dismiss the above statement, but if true, then why was he not buried abroad after he died if that was his wish.? Why wait 364 days before taking him abroad after raiding his grave in complete secrecy and then bury him again also in complete secrecy abroad. It doesn't make too much sense.!

Don't be "surprised". Only an idiot would have given insan's and VP's gossip sources a second thought ....

The source is Afrika. They connections to the people in the know regarding certain political activities. It is exactly the kind of thing eoka would do to upset the balance in the negotiations.
God I forgot, eoka does not exist, it was dissolved in 1960. So now we know where the Lime powder came from around the grave. It was left for when they dissolved eoka and decided to put it to a good use.

Hadeh rah Fredoulla. Leave it out mate. Don't do a VP on us. Show some respect to a family who must be devastated by this outrageous affair.

S Levent, wouldn't just print gossip. He must know about it. He has connections in the south.

Yes, Levent is good, but he may for once have it wrong.
Freddie, kikapoo's post above answers things for me.

If true,

Maybe 'people close to him' and 'family' had different ideas.

The sooner we find out the truth .............................the better.

According to today's Afrika newspaper in the north,...

I’m surprised you’re surprised that we don’t read TC newspapers!

We shall see if it is true in due course.

I find the report extremely unrealistic and without sense. I don't see how the family would do such a thing in collusion with RoC authorities.

So why would Afrika write such a stupid nonsensical article? :?

I agree with you man. It was the first thing that came to my mind after reading all the statements given by his affiliates....

This blatantly seems like a GC stunt.....

When TCs or Turks do something dodgy, GCs are the FIRST to see straight through it......well this is that situation in reverse.....
